painful morning + small local brand haul

sobs...
i woke up early today
(8am was early for me since it is the vacation,, during school days having 10 hrs of sleep is nonetheless a miracle or a bad case of laziness)
i experienced great pain on my lower abdomen.
thereafter, i realized i am experiencing dysmenorrhea again.
Dysmenorrhea is the term used to describe painful menstrual periods.
the pain is excruciating. :c
there are countless of times that i nearly fainted because of it.
i have been dependent on ibuprofen since i was in the 5th grade.
blame it to my pediatrician for giving me the license to take pain relievers as much as i want to.
i will probably go nuts without medicine.

moving on, i was soo excited in buying my revlon colorstay liquid foundation.
i just learned that if you get any liquid foundation, you'll get the refill for only 150 pesos.
however, no color matched my skintone!!!
i have strong yellow undertones. their shades looks so off on my skin.
i nearly went ballistic!LOL haha
buff looks light on me and i don't want to look ghostly!!
i am happy with maybelline angelfit liquid foundation in natural buff mixed withl'oreal true match in golden amber because i get the perfect shade.
however, it is not long lasting.
it is just now that i realized that i should get a primer.
i plan to get the face shop's span primer. (perhaps later :D)
oohhh instead i got the following, two of which was inspired by prettyNEHS.

careline galmour eyes eyestick in platinum, careline blush in peach glow and aido eye putti/eyelash glue.

i was really happy with the careline eyestick it is easier to blend that my artdeco e/s base.
i never imagined it would be this small.
it dries quickly too.
oftentimes, it would get my powder on my eyelids all mixed up.
however, this keeps my e/s on for hours.

i don't usually wear eyeshadows that is why i just want a cheap e/s base.
careline eyestick is just a wonderful alternative however this lacks the staying power of artdeco.
applying one after the other is a great idea.

hope you'll be better in no time at all..

is artdeco base a good base?

i saw that when i went to sm makati & was thinking if it really won't crease. it might be a good alternative to UDPP if ever i ran out of it...

  3. @nehs: the aido putti is really nice and affordable.

@thiamere: the artdeco base is a good alternative for those who does not have access to udpp or tfsi.. it makes my e/s stay put for hours.i just find it hard to blend when i have put foundation already. and it dries quickly too. although, it is perfect when applied on bare skin. :D over all, this is a nice e/s base.. also,it makes the colors of the e/s more vibrant.

  4. @thiamere -- the artdeco e/s base is amazing! :D I absolutely love it. And if it's hard to bled, you'll get used to it eventually.

Donnarence -- I know how it is to have really really painful periods. But my cousin (a doctor) suggested I take Piroxicam, and it really worked for me! Ask your doctor about it. :) It's a really good pain reliever.

  6. i feel for your cramps T_T I have the same experience once in a while and it hurts like hell. I haven't tried e/s base but I use glycerin+water mixing medium and the hold of the e/s is great! the colors are also vibrant even on my skin tone ^_^

    thank,lovelies!

im gonna try Artdeco..i think you're right about it being hard to blend because if i can still remember it right, It's more of a solid-cream...not fluid-like..

    i guess it really doesn't crease,right?

  12. Did you know that Art Deco is pulling out of the Philippines? I wanted to buy the eyeshadow primer after reading so many rave reviews, but it looks like I'll never get the chance now. :(
