Hair Color Failure + Simple Everyday Look

Hi everyone!! I got a new haircut!! Finally.. However, it does not look different from my last hairstyle.. LOL Nothing new but my hair length already reached my waist so i have to cut it.. I already looked like a freaking witch especially with my jet black hair.. creepy!! I decided to color my hair with garnier golden medium brown.. It was an utter failure.. *SIGH.. I was hoping for a shocking hair color change!! But nothing happened.

This is my original hair color.

afyer using garnier hair color.. Oh don't be deceived.. the color just shows up when light strikes on it.. what a waste.. My friend told me that i should have chosen the lightest shade because my hair is jet black.. Being dumb with hair coloring.. I should have researched first before doing it on my own.. tsk tsk,,,

^^ a very simple and light make up..I seldom wear e/s when going out but I find time to sweep some color on my lid while inside our car.. hehe

  1. Did you color your hair by yourself? Props to you! I can never do that, I'm too scared I will burn my hair off or turn it to orange :D

  2. I love your jet black hair. It's super shiny. Too bad you have to wait at least 4 weeks till you can color your hair again...4 to 6 weeks to be exact.

  4. the color is fine donna.
thats the problem when the original hair color is jet black. the color would not show up.

still, you look cutie pie naman. so no worries.

  5. Your hair looks pretty! It's expected to not see a difference right away especially since your hair very dark. You don't usually get a dramatic difference after one dye. Especially when your hair is originally black. It's gonna take a couple of more dye's to really get a golden brown shade. You should stick with it cuz I think it'll look pretty (:

  13. Oh same goes sweetie, I have jet black hair too, well had I also got my hair cut and colored today. It was my first time to get my hair colored and I was happy that my hair isn;t jet black anymore. My stylist mixed 3 different colors to achieve the brown i wanted. But I suggest you use L'Oreal Proffessionel products instead of garnier. :)

  14. Hmm, I don't understand how a lighter color would show on jet black hair. I was always told to bleach first...?

  15. your skin looks really clear already. inggit ako sis! :)

parang ganun din nangyari the first time i tried to color my own hair. pag black tapos virgin/untreated hair, talagang lighter shade yung dapat mo ipangkulay kasi di masyado magsshow up. but your hair looks fine naman eh. looks healthy too :)

  20. Also these hair products contain natural additives like olive oil, which help to make your hair smooth and shiny. The products from garnier allow for individuals whether male or female to choose between seven different shades of color schemes to get that authentic stylish look.
