Pond's Perfect Care Cold Cream

Pond's Perfect Care Cold Cream
Deep Cleanser

My first every makeup remover is Lancome BI FACIL eye makeup remover given by my aunt way back in college when I started loving makeup. After, I emptied one bottle, I never had the chance to use it again because it is way pricey for a student like me. Then just two months ago, I bought this very inexpensive cold cream from Pond's. I was not expecting much from this because I am  allergic to most of  Pond's products. However, this tiny tub is an exception. This is used as a makeup remover. In my case, I only used it in removing my eye makeup. (I use Eskinol Facial Cleanser as a makeup remover for the rest of my face. Yes, I use it before washing my face and this routine helped my skin a lot. Zits no more even on super stressed days in school.)

This is an illustration to show you how it removes makeup well. On the first picture is a swatch of Maybelline's gel liner. I rub it gently on my eye area in circular motions to remove the makeup and swipe it off with a tissue. I even tried using towel or cotton but facial tissue is the best. :p The third picture shows that there are still residue of the makeup. Actually, this does not remove all the my mascara and eyeliner underneath my upper waterline in the first application. I have to redo the routine twice or thrice to remove all the dirt and excess makeup. I have no qualms on using over and over again because it feels so gentle on my skin. No dryness or tight feel at all since it is a cream cleanser just right for my dry skin. It has a very nice but subtle scent too.
Over all, this a very nice product. I will definitely buy again!

  1. I am also allergic to Pond's products so I always ignore them. But thanks for this review, I saw how it easily removed the makeup. :)
