MAC Hug Me Dupe
I was cleaning my makeup drawer this morning when I started swatching my lipsticks. I had the Mac Hug Me lipstick for quite but I barely use it. I find the color too light for my skintone. While swatching, I noticed that Fashion 21 Aqualicious Arctic stone is almost the same shade as MAC's Hug Me!! See my post here about Fashion 21 Aqualicious lipstick. |
They look almost identical when worn on the lips!! Yey!! |

Oh wow, they do look exactly the same, and the f21 one is only for a fraction of the price! This post makes me want to try the aqualicious lipsticks! (Hahaha not in the near future tho, I'm on a makeup buying ban X_X)
ReplyDeleteI own another f21 color from their other lipstick line (the dark gray tubes) called Wild Cherry that's supposedly a dupe for Mac Russian Red.
I really love your beauty blog and I'm having fun looking through all hour articles :D Hope you can come check out my hair & beauty blog!

They look pretty similar but Hug Me doesn't emphasize your lip lines as much I think...
ReplyDelete: 3 For dark lips i suggest lip concealer >w< or like well just normal concealer preferably liquid. owo it makes sheer colors come out lovely!
ReplyDeleteAnd yea lol they look similar. oAo though telling from the swatch the F21 lipstick is cuter owo
so pretty! I haven't tried any F21 lipsticks..I don't want to pile because I might not be abe to use it...but after some of them has finished, I will definitely try them...ganda!
ReplyDeletewow oo nga they are alike. Will check f21 lippies nga hehe!
ReplyDeleteMAC Lavander Whip=Nyx Power. Very diff if you'd see them in their tubes but try swatching it, one word ..dupe :))
ReplyDeletecool find. they do look a like!
ReplyDeletemacheck nga yung F21! thanks Donna!
ReplyDeleteyay for sharing this wonderful discovery donnarence! :D i think fashion 21 is more suitable for ladies with pigmented lips since it does look more opaque. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi, hindi ba sya drying? :( I find local brands to be really drying that's why I mainly use Korean brands because of the moisture/collagen.
ReplyDeleteI have Everbilena lipsticks but I haven't yet tried F21 products yet. I stuck to NYX until now, since it's so creamy.
okay naman siya... creamy siya... mas drying yung ever bilena matte lipstick para sa akin.. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat blog and great reviews!! Hope you'll check mine out when you get a chance :)

ReplyDeleteAnother VERY close dupe for Mac Hug me is Australis Inject Mineral Lipstick in Macarena (Australis is a brand in some larger dpt stores in Australia and New Zealand). The Australis is just a bit more pigmented, cheaper and a lot more moisturizing!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog..
i really appreciate your comments.
