Hi everyone! I am quite feverish while doing this blog. I hope you are all doing fine. I got this product for review (for free) from Jailex Couture. I am really curious with this Oil Eliminator from Krave Minerals. When I first saw this online, I immediately remembered Ellana's HD Finishing Powder.
I was really surprised with the content which is glaringly less than what I expected. The jar itself looked big but the product seemed less than half of the jar. I  even double check (make it triple) if the one sent to me was even sealed. I even thought that the product was just repackaged in a different jar.  I finally realized that the jar was just too big.  See the picture above for reference. The product is finely milled but the texture is comparable to an ordinary loose powder.  I tried using this as a finishing powder to seal my liquid foundation/bb cream in place. It was actually okay but I noticed that I need to double the amount of the product  to secure my base makeup in place. I love using it on top of my powder foundation or pressed powder because it does not cake and it blends  really well with my skin. It gives my skin a matte finish with a bit of sheen.  It definitely brightens up my face in an instant.  I guess this is due to the pearl powder ingredient.  Does it make my makeup last longer? No. I have normal to dry skin and this did not made my foundation or blush last longer than usual. However, I only have to retouch once or twice a day (Lesser than I normally would,, Yehess Retouch Queen ang Peg ko! haha). I also thought that this would suck out the moisture and oil on my face just like my Ellana HD Finishing Powder does to my face but it did not. I do think that this is a plus point for this product considering that I have a lot of dry patches on my skin. My face does not feel tight and does not look flat with this Oil Eliminator. This is fragrance free and does not trigger my allergic rhinitis. This feels so light on the skin. I experience no break outs using this. Lastly, no ugly white caste on pictures!!

When properly blended, the powder fades perfectly on the skin.
I do not like the puff at all! Can you see the tiny fibers? I find it flimsy and very thin. I saw the old puff in other blog posts and that looked way better than this one. You can google it for comparison. I use a flat top brush in applying this.
With Krave Minerale Oil Eliminator

What do you think? Over all, I like this product but I am not in love with it. :) I recommend to this to everyone even those with dry skin like me.
