I can never afford a clarisonic and I do not think I will ever spend that much. Unless, someone will give it to me as a gift, I will gladly accept without any inch of hesitation. I have recently read that the Konjac Sponge is a good and  cheaper alternative to Clarisonic. I was very curious about it. I was thinking of buying a Konjac Sponge online but when I passed by at Etude House, I saw a similar sponge being sold as a cleansing puff. I was really hesitant to buy it because the saleslady cannot even tell me if the puff can be use for the face. I researched online and found out that it is similar to the Konjac Sponge I saw online. The next day, I passed by Tony Moly and found this sponge with a label Konjac Sponge. I immediately bought it. This only costs 198 pesos and it looks way bigger than the one from Etude House.

Konjac a a revolutionary vegetable fiber from the Konjac Plant. Honestly, it reminds me of a loofah. The sponge is damp/ moist and look so big upon opening. I have been using this for a month now and I am quite impressed. It feels so soft and gentle on the skin. I initially thought that this will not work and using a facial scrub or a wash cloth is better. However, I noticed that it effectively lessened my dry patches and made my skin look healthier and smoother. I can instantly see the glow and radiance on my skin after every use.  This sponge can be used alone or with a facial cleanser. I use this with my Physiogel Cleanser and I usually use it in the morning.

When dried, the sponge turns smaller and harder just like a loofah.
Before using this, make sure to soak in warm water to soften the sponge. After use, press the sponge between your palm and do not ever wring. Mine got a bit dilapited because I did not know this. This sponge can last upto 1 to 2 months depending on use. This comes with a small thread that can be use to hang the sponge after every use to dry.

Over all, I am very pleased with this sponge. I am planning to try other sponges. I am hoping to find the original Konjac Sponge at the Super Sale bazaar soon.
Godbless everyone!
