Makeup Factory Eyeshadow Quattro Review + FOTD

Finally! A decent FOTD and EOTD after a long time. No, I will not bore you with Neutrals this time. I received a this Quattro Eyeshadow in # 23 from Makeup Factory a month ago.  I was honestly not into greens and I can not even remember the last time I wore green eyeshadow. Yesterday, I attended the Pinkbox event and decided that it was an opportune time to use this quad.
 (Price: Php 1250)

This is one of the most classy eyeshadow quad I have ever seen but the mirror is quite small. The quad is very lightweight which makes it perfect for travel. The eyeshadows have a creamy and velvety texture which makes product pick up such a breeze.  I tried using it with synthetic and animal hair brushes, even with fingers and applying the product was very easy. It adheres easily onto the skin even without primer. I did not experience any fall outs using this eyeshadow. All eye shadows have a satin finish with a bit of sheen. The colors are blendable and the shadows I applied on my lower lashline stayed pretty well even without primer.
The combination in this quad is very nice. They are wearable on its own and they perfectly compliment each other. I wore it on a day event and it looks wonderful. I think the dark moss green color is great for a smokey look too.
One swipe without primer

Overall, I am really happy with this eyeshadow but I do find it a bit pricey for a quad.

I curled my hair using socks yesterday and it was a success! Now, my dilemma is to find a hair mousse (preferably unscented) to hold my curls. Any recos?

How did I do the sock curls?
I sectioned my hair into three parts, then rolled each section on a sock while my hair is still damp. Better curls will be achieved if you let it stay and dry overnight.

Have a blessed and fun weekend!!

  1. Wow! You look so polished and beautiful here!
The contouring, eyeshadow and lip color looks so complementary on you~

I tried to curl my hair using both wax paper and socks one time but my hair is too stubbornly straight for any curl to last for even an hour.
