The Naked 1 Palette Dupe (Sleek Storm) Review +Swatches

I can't believe that Urban Decay will be releasing their Naked Palette 3 and I have not even bought a Naked Palette myself (except for the Basics). I find it queer, for some perhaps really amusing, that a beauty enthusiast like me is hesitant in shelling out 2500-3000 pesos for a Naked Palette. Yay.. In due time, I will have my own Naked Palette. For now, let's enjoy this mind blowing dupe of Naked Palette 1. This is part of BF's gifts to me. (emphasis on the S haha.. I got thrilled when he told me that I could go shopping for makeup because he is in all out support for my makeup artist career.. chos!) Anyways, I went to the Noel Bazaar last week and I was really looking forward to find Digital Traincase and UpdatedTrends' stall. On top of my list is the Sleek Blush by 3 Palette but this palette stole the limelight of my to buy list.

The colors look all wearable and when swatched, gives out the most awesome pigmentation.
Here are the swatches without primer (take note without primer)

These palette is worth drooling, right? I bought it for 650 pesos less 10% from Updated Trends.
Here is their Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Updated-Trends/428236583862549

What to love about this palette:

  • the eyeshadows were all pigmented (beyond reasonable doubt based on the above pictures)
  • The texture are very soft and adheres easily on the lid.
  • The pigmentation can be controlled and build up.
  • I noticed that this is not too powdery and the shimmers have relatively less fall out.
  • Affordable

This palette is one of my best buy this 2013!!!
What do you think? Is this palette a yay or a nay?

  2. It's a Yay!! You can go from day to night look in just one palette with a lot of colors to choose from. And since it's pigmented, you can leave your primer at home, instant space saver!

  9. It's a great palette but I don't understand why you'd call it a dupe of UD Naked :-)

    1. Hi!! I forgot to explain that most international bloggers did a side by side comparison with naked 1.. i think there are three shadows like the green one that does not have a match at all with UD.. hihi.. here is one of the blog links:
