In The Blush: Sleek Blush by Three (Swatches and Review)

It all started with a need. A need to get more blushes since I am building my so called pro makeup artist kit. After accumulating 8 blushes in a span of one month I knew I am in the blush phase. That beauty enthusiast/addict feeling the need to get very shade available in the counter. Yay!!! This will be a three part series in my blog starting from this post. For everyone's info, I am not a blush person at all. I felt that whenever I used blush whether powder or cream, my cheeks would develop rashes or would itch afterwards. Thus, I consider myself a lipstick person. These two blushes are part of BF's gifts to me. Well, he wanted something that I would use for my future clients and I all could think of are sleek blushes because of their color and pigmentation. I initially wanted to get all shades of this line but trimmed down my choices to two. Oh boy, that was hard.

The first choice I had been lemming for years was the shade Pumpkin Pie
but I settled for the shade LACE.

CHANTILLY.GUIPURE.CROCHET

Crochet is a a matte satiny peachy orange blush. The shade is very buildable and it looks very natural on my cheeks. Some orange blush looks weird on my skin but this blends seamlessly.
Guipure is a perfect golden coral shade that is comparable to Nars Orgasm. The gold glimmer is perfect for the holiday season. Oh my.. the color of this blush is pure beauty. I also use this to layer with the other two blushes and the results are just amazing.
Chantilly is a hot salmon coral shade. It look so pretty on the pan but give my cheeks that bright happy look.

This palette is absolutely my fave as of the moment. All colors suit my medium yellow skintone and the shades are truly mesmerizing. They might be hard to work with because this palette is not suitable for all skin colors as the shades tend to be really bright.

Next blush is the shade SUGAR.
A palette that I consider a wild card. I do not usually go these colors but the holiday season simply draw me to purchase it.
The shades in this palette reminds me of fall. The shades all look scary in the pan because they look muddy and they do fall within the usual blush shades. Just wait till you swatch them.
Turbinado is a matte deep brick berry red. Just a tiny bit of this blush readily mimics my most natural flush. Perhaps, due to its red tones.
Muscovado looks deceiving because it look like a shimmery golden brown shade in the pan. When worn it looks like a reddish terracotta shade with golden shimmer. This is actually wearable and I even layer this shade over the Demerra.
Demerra is a muted brownish peach that looks perfect for a smokey eyes or an evening look.

The Sleek Blush by 3 Palette is a pigmented blush palette. It is definitely a good value for your money. You get three blushes for only 850 pesos (bought one from Updated Trends at the Noel Bazaar). The blushes are satiny and blends easily on the cheeks. The colors are very pigmented that I just need to use a light hand on applying this blush. More often, I even tap off the products my brush picks up because like they say "a little goes a long way". I love the black sturdy packaging with huge mirror. What I don't like about these blushes? hmmm... NONE!!

I want to get the other shades!!Seriously!
