Review: Tony Moly Berry Berry Magic Lip Tint

Despite accumulating a lot of lipsticks last 2013, I do not reach for them as much as I did years ago. Last year, I got very interested with lip tints and balms. Thanks Revlon for starting a craze! Anyways, I got this magic tint from Tony Moly during the Holidays. I have been seeing these pots in their store but never bothered to try them at all. I finally gave this a shot when I got Tony Moly's package. To my surprise, I LOVE IT!!! Having dark lip line has made lipliners and lipsticks my bestfriends. There are days, however, when I want to look natural as possible. With Tony Moly's Magic Lip Tint, I can achieve that just bitten lip color!
This came in a screw cap plastic pot. It seems sturdy to me. It feels lightweight too so it is very travel friendly. I got the shade in No. 01 in Clear. I do hope they have the one in a tube because I find potted lip products like this very unhygienic
This is called Magic Lip Tint for something. This clear gloss changes into a light pinkish/red shade on my lips. This feels sticky and applies like a solid gloss on my lips. I do feel that the consistency helps in moisturizing my dry lips but I still need a good lip balm for that much needed moisturization. The color suits my lips despite my dark lip lines. I can use this alone but I prefer using it with a lip liner for added color. On its own, this is a very nice product. The stains lasts for hours sans eating and drinking of course. The solid gel does not melt even during the hot and humid days. I just need to dab my finger on this pot and it spreads easily on my lips (even on dry and cracked lips) evenly. I can control the color intensity because the color is buildable. Although, this does not look as opaque as that of a lipstick. It just looks like a glossy lip stain on me

This has a nice strawberry scent which I really like.  This is a very affordable product and it retails for only 198 pesos. How great is that?

Here is a lip swatch for all of you:

Since I have to dip my finger on the pot, it leaves a stain my finger.
Over all, I am really liking this lip tint. :)

I want to have another shade. I hope they have something in coral/orange tint. :)
Have you tried this product form Tony Moly?

  5. Try applying it with a lip brush so it's not as unhygienic as dipping your finger in the pot. :)
