A MUST SEE: What Fake Makeup Products Really Contain?

A sorority sister asked me if SG Authentic is okay. My immediate answer was NO. Yes, they are cheap and affordable but imagine how much it will cost if it irritates your skin. There are three things I  learned on how to spot fake cosmetics:

1. If it is ridiculously cheap compared to the original product, then, it is a fake. Hello, Urban Decay Naked Palette for 499 pesos? I spent more than a day's labor to buy mine which costs 2800 pesos.
2. The difference in the packaging and product itself may look slightly to patently off whether in size or color etc. Look at the Naked Palette above, it looks almost like my Naked Palette but the brown cover is too dark.  They are really good with this.
3. They are offered at a bargain in bazaars or mostly online like Facebook, IG and Ebay. And if they are claiming that it is SG Authentic, Oh please there is no such animal as authentic and fake all at the same time.

And for sellers who are trying to defend their products as pang "masa", this is video is a must see for you and for everyone. Be informed on what your "SG authentic" makeup product really contain.

  1. Malamang with the quality control of SG authentics, mas ok pa formulation ng drugstore brands. At least tunay. There's no shame in using good quality drugstore brands.

  2. Marami namang magandang local brands that you can use. Besides if you love it then it must be worth the effort to save for it.

  3. It's sad na kahit nag up na ng game ang local brands natin, people still opt to buy SG authentic cosmetics. Though I admit na it's very tempting to buy one(wala naman ibang makaka alam na fake yung MAC Blot Powder mo pag nag reretouch ka sa CR lol), sobrang dangerous. I actually bought an "SG authentic" Naked 2 palette. I was amazed kasi sobrang pigmented and almost creamy, what more pa kaya kung yung legit yung binili ko. Pero tinapon ko na kasi kinabahan din ako, and through research I realized na marami namang brands na may quality pero afford.

  6. Honestly I used the blush on dati na ung mura lang ok naman sya pero hindi ung ganto na may tatak na imitation ng make up. Nakakatawa lang ung ibang seller na ipipilit pa lalo na ONLINE ipipilit pa na AUTHENTIC toh authentic so what's the point? para mabenta lang grabe kawawa ung mga hindi talaga marunong tumingin sa make up na tunay sad lang nag sayang lang sila ng pera.

  9. Hello guys I sell Authentic Makeups from Europe and I have lots of customers but ofcourse marami din ngrereklamo sa presyo kc nga mahal like MaxFactor and so on.How do I defend the brands I am selling?First I use them myself and prove the quaality and research the product/s if it has good feeback in the market.I make sure that the makeups im selling are Fair Trade, Animal Cruelty free products and passed the European standard pero I am still careful kc sa liek what i said European ang standard alam naman ntin ang clima doon kaysa sa Pinas so I dnt sell mga face powder , mga cream at bsta yong dikit talaga sa mukha. BUT marami din products from EUROPE that are Made in China pero quality of Europe so you shouldn't worry as long as nabili nyong items is nakapasa sa Philippine standard and I guess nakapasa nga yong mga fakes na MAC at ibang brands kasi marami na sa atin .Ang mali lang is reselling the products without the permission of the Mother Company, which I am guilty myself kc ngbebenta tlaga ako ng Max Factors, W7 blah, Rimmel London,Mac blah blah without certifiation na pwd ako mgbenta hehe.
