I can't believe that there is just one day left before Christmas. I am honestly not done with Christmas shopping yet. Well, this year, I actually trimmed down my list. I am not in the mood of playing Santa this year. Call me the grinch or madamot but Kiber talaga!I really promised myself to give presents to people who know how to appreciate. This year, I learned that the happiest people are the ones who have have a grateful heart so pag wala ka non wala kang gift from me. Charoot!

Anyways, Olay sent me their whole new line of products and I was really interested with their CC Cream.  On my initial try, I was really disappointed. I was expecting coverage but I did not get any (at all.. okay sheer coverage which I am not a fan of). The next day I tried it once again and it occurred to me that just like other cc creams, this product aims to correct discoloration and are generally lighter in coverage. So, I will be reviewing this product without any biases and without any pre-judgment in mind na dapat para siyang bb cream. Kasi naman lahat ng bases feeling ko dapat my coverage. hehe
It comes in a lightweight tube and it has a signature Olay fresh soapy scent. It comes in two shades Light and Medium. Medium looks perfect for my skin tone but I prefer using the Light shade because it brightens up my face effortlessly.

Here are the swatches for comparison:
This CC cream blends very well on the skin and the consistency is like a light cream/lotion. This dries to a semi matte finish on my dry skin. It takes a few minutes to set and does not dry quite easily. I do not use this alone because as we all know, Manila's humid weather can almost melt everything even in December. I love how light and moisturizing this CC Cream is. It works even on my rash filled face and does not react to my skin negatively. Yes, I use this even when I have rashes. I just feel that Olay is one of those brands that I can really trust for my troubled skin. As I have mentioned this CC Cream has a sheer coverage but it corrects my skin discoloration really well. It can even tame my bumps and rashes. Because of this, I love using it as a primer especially during colder and drier days.

This CC Cream reminds me of Benefit's Porefessional but this is the hydrating version. It helps in blurring out my pores and the light shade double as a skin brightener.

Here is a before and after photo of me using this CC Cream. My face looks bumpy and uneven because of the rashes. I know there's not much difference but if you look closely on my nose, you can see how this CC Cream can blur out my black heads and it really make redness on my face subside.
What do you think? My next cc/bb cream review will be Revlon CC Cream or Tony Moly Goddess Aura BB Cream. :)

Godbless!
