PIXI Natural Brow Duo
This awesome duo is every brow addict’s dream. It is a dual ended product that features a brow
gel on one end and a slanted retractable pencil on the other. It was definitely a travel friendly product.
I find that the packaging look quite sturdy though it easily gets dirty due to its light green color.
When I got the loot bag from PIXI, this is one of the first few products that I have tried but I have to
admit that it was definitely not love at first use. The pencil weighs 0.2 grams while the brow
gel has 2.5 ml worth of product. It may sound like you are getting two travel sized eye pencil
and brow gel combined in one.
Next is the brow gel, I have nothing but praises for this one. Hihi From my opening statement,
you can now conclude that I absolutely love this brow gel.
The brush size of this brow gel is perfect. It combs my
brows in place and it can even tame the unruly ends of my brow tail. That’s how amazing this is,
however, I did not like it the first time I used it as well. When swatched alone, it looks like a
watery brown gel. I was like “ano naman ito?!” haha I was expecting it to have color since it
looks really pigmented on the tube.
No, it does not work like MAC’s Girl Boy or Etude House’s Color my Brows,
it is just a brow gel, a brow gel that keeps my brows in Perfectly in Place.

The shape of the pencil is perfect for lining your brows. The triangular slanted form makes it easier
to whip a tail and draw the edges of the brow. What is very noticeable
with this pencil is its hard texture. Imagine comparing it with my waxy and super pigmented brow pencil from Ever Bilena that I immediately
tossed it my drawer after using. After a few days I saw Tati from GlamLife Guru in

Youtube raving about this pencil and I was like - I must use it again. On my next use, I tried to
appreciate the product on its own sans any comparison to my trusted Ever Bilena Pencil. I then
realized that it makes the most natural strokes on my brows even with a heavy hand. Due to its
hard texture, it is very easy to work with. I do not need to set it with powder because it stays put.
From light feathery strokes to a heavy gigil hand, it creates the most natural looking brow for me.
It is definitely a far cry from my conspicuously drawn brows. Plus, It stays on the whole day too,
it somehow leaves a stain on my brows. . I do not retouch my brows unless I accidentally
put powder on it. At the end of the day, I would still prefer my Ever Bilena Brow Pencil over this one.
This is good for filing in the brows but not for outlining because I find the color too light for my liking.
Here are the swatches on my hands. You’ll see how light both products are.
Btw, I got the shade Medium Brown.
The Pencil looks like a brownish taupe.
Here’s how it looks like on my brows:
What do you think? Is it a yay or nay?
I honestly think they should come out with a full sized tube of the brow gel. :)
This brow duo costs 890 pesos.
