Olay Total Effects Day and Night Cream Review

I got these Olay Total Effect Line from Sampleroom Ph. Olay also sent full sized samples of their Toner and CC Creams. Hooray for Olay Products. I got the Day Cream, night cream, Pore minimizing Toner and the CC Creams. If you haven't read my review on their CC Cream, kindly visit this link: http://www.mylucidintervals.com/2014/12/review-olay-total-effects-pore.html. For this post, I will be reviewing their night and day cream. Olay has become a very familiar name in our household because my Mother is a fan!! She loves it to bits that everytime Olay send me PR Kits, she would ask me for the products immediately. Alangan namang hindian ko, diba?
Olay Total Effects Night Cream is an all-in-one night treatment fights the 7 signs of skin ageing with a proven vitamin-rich complex to give you younger-looking skin as you sleep. With its exclusive VitaNiacin formula, Olay Total Effects out-moisturizes several leading department store brands and is proven effective in fighting 7 signs of skin ageing.
This is a very light moisturizer with a very subtle scent. I love how it feels light on the skin and how it makes my skin looked supple the next morning. It is easily absorb by my skin. It claims to make the pores look smaller and removes skin blotchiness but I have not seen such an effect yet. Perhaps, continuous usage is the answer. This night cream did not irritate my skin. This is a good night cream especially for those with normal skin types. For those with drier skin like me, this may be too light.
It gives off an immediate brightening effect as can be seen from the photo above.  One tub with 50grams product costs Php 789 and is sold in leading Department Stores Nationwide.
It contains seven anti-ageing benefits in one daily moisturizer, geared towards battling the 7 signs of aging, giving the skin younger, healthier looking skin. It also has SPF 15 to boot!

This daycream is one of my mom's favorite from Olay! She is an avid user since I was in college or the time when this product was released. This is a lightweight moisturizer that has an SPF 15 in it. It gives a slight hint of luminosity on my skin and is easily absorbed when applied. It works for my skin on days when I do not have a lot of rashes and dry patches. This is not too hydrating but I bet it will work best on normal to oily skin types.
Price point is quite affordbale considering that you only need two pea size amounts to cover the entire face.  20 grams - 389 pesos and the 50 grams - 789 pesos

Overall, these creams from Olay are good but not for my very dry skin. On days when it is too humid, I use the day cream instead of my heavy moisturizer to keep my foundations from melting and sliding off. Olay products are available nationwide in leading department stores and super markets.
