SkinWhite #BetterMe Campaign
I am kind of jealous to the generation today because most girls, ladies and women alike have easy access to everything beauty related whether it be through youtube channels or blogs. Most girls nowadays are very much aware of the how to's on how to improve themselves. When I was in high school, I was dumbfounded on who to ask what soap to try to even out my skintone (my arms are way darker than the rest of my body) or what moisturizer to use to prevent my skin from drying out. My mom is not very much into beauty, so we are on the same boat. Hence, this blog was created to document my makeup musings to help others learn more about beauty and to feature makeup products (that won't break the bank). I am very much inspired to be part of SkinWhite's #BetterMe Campaign. SkinWhite, the leading and pioneer skin whitening brand in the Philippines, aims to give Filipinas the tools they need to improve who they are both inside and out. SkinWhite launched a four month campaign called #BetterMe to help inspire and empower teens.
Last April 22, 2015, SkinWhite held an outreach to the young women of Brgy. Tagalag of Valenzuela City. This barangay is second to the poorest barangay in Valenzuela. The SkinWhite Captivate Council had a girl bonding time with 20 girls from the aforesaid barangay. A personality development seminar was given by KA Antonio wherein she talked about good grooming and self confidence. This Charity work made possible by SkinWhite is very apt for their corporate social responsibility. Being in the beauty industry, SkinWhite is reaching out to women and girls from all walks of life in order to teach them more about beauty inside and out. This is like giving back to the community on a very beautiful and positive note. This reminded me to give back to others. The grace of our Lord is overflowing in my life and the blessings that come forth should be shared not only to my family members but also to other people. Like, there are different instances where one can help to community. In our church, CCF we have different means on how to share our blessings to others like sponsoring a child to go to school for only 200 pesos a month or even giving aid to international ministry.

How can this #BetterMe Campaign translate into our everyday lives? Have you heard people saying ang pangit mo na nga ang pangit din ng ugali mo? Sounds too melodrama and telenovela-ish but I do feel that our outward appearance sometimes dictates what we feel inside or vice-versa. I usually experienced this when I feel too stressed with life. Looking back, I would looked too haggard and would feel irritable. This is what the #BetterMe Campaigns aims to build a YOU inside out. That being said, mawawala ba naman ang product review with SkinWhite Products? hehe

Here is a photo of me using the SkinWhite Whitening Cream Face Powder in Light Beige on the other half of my face. This is an airwhipped cream product that turns into a matte powdery finish after being blended on the skin. As you can see, it did brightened and even out my skin. It is best for everyday use because it is very easy to use and apply. It works well on dry surface so I suggest skip the moisturizer is possible. It can cancel out the redness on my skin but can highlight my dry patches. It works best when my skin is rash free. :) This is a go to product when I am in a hurry like when I have market errands or grocery shopping to do. Yes, tita na ang peg ko kaya ganyan ang errands ko. hehe

it really covered my dark spots,and after a week of using it, i noticed that it lightens my pimple marks. And very gentle on the skin, just like their Skinwhite lotion. Since i do have very sensitive skin, it did not turn into red rashes after using it. I just love your review,very informative.
I'm currently using this combo for almost a month now except for the face cream. I love the soap too, smells good and does not melt fast:) The lotion works well on me, what I don't like is its thick consistency that most of the time I need to "taktak" the product. I hope you get my point. Haha.Maybe I prefer liquidy lotion always just like the Nivea. Anyway, so far I see that it lighten my skin a bit so I will continue using this products for 3-4 months:D
