What's New: Laneige Water Sleeping Mask and Lip Sleeping Mask

When I went to Korea, the Laneige Sleeping Pact is one of the product in my to buy list. Sadly, I got too overwhelmed with makeup that I forgot to buy this much raved about sleeping pact. Last July, Laneige held a slumber party (este blogger event hehe) at the Blue Water Day Spa. We got pampered and we were also served goodies ala midnight snack.
Definitely, one of the cutest and most relaxing event I have ever attended.
We were given a relaxing massage and we also got to take home the newest sleeping masks fro Laneige.
These products are the star of the Night. Say hello to the newest Laneige Sleeping Mask and Sleeping Lip Mask. I got the full size and the travel sized. I am currently using the travel sized masks and I am definitely loving them so far.
Let me give you a brief history on the Laneige Masks. Over a period of time, this globally renowned skin product started way back in 2002. Back then, this was known as the Sleeping Pact. In 2005, it became the Water Sleeping Plus Mask for improved moisturization and skin vitality.  In 2009, this product was known as the Sleeping Pack Ex, this time the product incorporated the neuroscience concept of sleep quality and its effect on our skin. Now, we have the Water Sleeping Mask.

Here is a poster from Laneige to give you a glimpse of what this newest product is about:
The Laneige Sleeping Mask has evolved into a functional sleeping mask with three patented technologies: Purifying Sleeptox, Moisture Wrap and Sleepscent.  I am honestly not fond of using any night regimen products because most night cream feel very heavy and I feel uncomfortable using them. On the contrary, the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is in gel form that is super light weight. Upon application on the skin, this is immediately absorbed by the skin and I feel instant hydration.
The scent smells fresh and is not too overwhelming. This contains natural fragrances such as Orange Flower, Rose and Ylang Ylang. Laneige says that the scent prolongs two stages of sleep by 36%. Hindi ko naman pansin if thsi really help in my sleep but one thing I do know is that my skin looks very soft, supple and well hydrated the next morning when I use this mask. I also noticed that my skin does not need heavier moisturizer during the day time because this does over night wonders on y dry skin. Currently, I am using a much lighter daily moisturizer for daily wear and I can highly attribute my skin's "moisturized" condition to this product.
Look at how blendable and light this sleeping mask is.
Another product that I received is the Sleeping Lip Mask. Now, this one is very new to me. Having perpetually dry and chapping lips, this baby is a lip saver. This Lip Mask is Vitamin C Enrich with Berry Mix Complex consisting of eight different kinds of berries - raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, blueberry, gojiberry, soapberry, cloudberry and coffee berry. This has a sweet yummy berry scent. This feels like a solid gloss on the lips.

How to use this product: apply a thick layer on the lips and leave it over night. Then, wipe it off the next morning. I have been using this for over a month now and this has minimized flaking and chapping of my lips.

Have you tried these products from Laneige? What do you think?

Godbless
