What's New: Take It Off with Biore + Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets Review
The No. 1 Makeup Remover in Japan is now in MNL! Hooray!!! Let us all welcome with open arms - Biore Makeup Removers. I love anything made in Japan and Korea but these Biore makeup removers really impressed me. I am so excited to share this great news to all of you (my readers). I am a fan of double cleansing (itriple mo pa yan). I never sleep with makeup on ever. (When I mean sleep, ito yung sa gabi 6-7 hrs not sleeping while on the FX ahh. that does not count hehe). Anyways, Biore sent me a PR kit prior to the media/blogger launch which was held last week at Spatzle, Shangri-la. And can I just say that I have been loving their cleansing oil and Cotton Facial Sheets? Grabe lang!!! The first time I tried the cleansing oil, I was like "Ay di maganda". It turned out I have been using/applying it the wrong way. Mapanghusga lang ang peg ko. IKR. During the launch, they taught the guests the proper way to use the cleansing oil. The rest is history. Ito na bet na bet ko na siya. hehe Bibitinin ko muna kayo on the cleansing oil because I will be doing a separate review on it. Bottomline is -- ang ganda niya!!!!!! Pagpasiyahan niyo na that I am in taglish mode. Nakainom na naman ako ng 2 kape kaya in hyper mode ako magsulat. So, alam niyo na ah.. Coffee intake = Taglish post. Char!
Let me give you a quick rundown on the different Biore Makeup removers
Biore Cleansing Oil
This oil based make-up remover from Japan has excellent cleansing ability that makes make-up removal so quick and easy! Suitable for medium to heavy make-up users, it effectively dissolves and removes even waterproof mascara, while lifting away dirt and impurities. Unlike typical oil makeup removers, it does not emulsify upon contact with water, thus maintaining its optimal cleansing performance at all times. To use, simply apply an appropriate amount of Biore Cleansing Oil onto face and massage gently to dissolve make-up, then rinse thoroughly with water. Available in 150ml pump bottle.
Biore Miscellar Cleansing Water
Made with natural mineral water from Japanese Alps, this wipe off make-up remover dissolves and lifts off more make-up in just one wipe. It is alcohol free, oil free, fragrance free, and does not clog pores. To use, pour an appropriate amount of Biore Micellar Cleansing Water onto cotton pad and gently wipe makeup off. For eye make-up, place soaked cotton onto closed eyes for 5 seconds before wiping off gently and repeat until make-up is completely removed. If wearing contact lenses, be sure to remove them before using Biore Micellar Cleansing Water. Available in 90ml flip top bottle.
Biore Cleansing oil Cotton Facial Sheets
Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets are convenient to use and leaves skin clean and soft with no sticky feel. With smooth Cleansing Oil and Hydrating Beauty Essence, it thoroughly removes all traces of make-up included waterproof mascara without irritating or drying your skin. Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets are made with 100% natural fibre sheets for a softer glide on skin. To use, gently wipe off makeup using the sheet. Makeup removal is complete when there is no trace of makeup on the sheet. For eye make-up, gently press Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheet on closed eyes for 5 seconds before wiping off gently and repeat until make-up is completely removed. If wearing contact lenses, be sure to remove them before using the product.

When I posted a photo of the Biore Makeup removers on my Instagram, a lot of my beauty blogger friends immediately asked me about this facial tissue. They were really interested and curious on this product. Hence, this is the first product that I will review out of all the makeup removers from Biore. The very first thing I noticed upon opening the travel pack is the size of the facial wipes. It is smaller than the other makeup wipes that I have tried. However, the facial tissue is very moist. (FYI, I prefer moist facial wipes compared to drier ones.) If you try to squeeze the tissue, you will a teaspoonful of essence from the tissue. The moisture of the tissue helps in removing the makeup very well. Despite its size, this facial tissue does its job very very well. It is ten times better than ordinary facial wipes that I have tried. Why? I primarily use wet facial wipes to wipe off my makeup after applying a cream makeup remover. Ordinary makeup wipes do not entirely remove my makeup, thus, I merely use them for wiping off (kaya nga wipes eh ano beh?)
This Facial tissue can remove all my makeup from foundation down to my mascara. Though I have not yet tried using it to remove waterproof mascara. It is like magic. It diminishes my skincare time for a good few minutes. This is my go to makeup remover during my tamad days (and nights) because it removes my makeup very quickly. This tissue is very soft and is not rough on the skin because it is made of cotton. It is also stretchable and is quite sturdy because it does not tear easily. I also noticed that it has a very fresh citrus scent. Also, despite having fragrance, this did not break me out.
Here is before and after photo using this product. Oh diba? Goodbye makeup! This is slightly more pricey compared to other facial wipes because Biore said it is a two in one product (makeup remover and facial wipes in one ) which is so true. My only concern is its size. Whenever I put on heavy makeup (meaning I put on eyehadow, gel liner and heavy funda), I need to use two sheets to completely remove everything.
I love the Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets (kahit super haba ng name niya). I really love it. I am rating this product 9.5/10. I deducted .5 because of the size of the tissue but other than that, this is a very nice an AWESOME product. Great Job Biore!

ReplyDeleteDonna, I have to agree with you that Biore's facial wipes are so effective in removing one's make-up. I came across this via a vlog in youtube. The review got me so interested that I even made a trip to Watson's the next day to buy the 10-piece pack. Once I tried it, these facial wipes have always been my go-to makeup remover. :)
