Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm with Kokum Butter Review

It's me again!! hihi I wanted to finish all my backlogs before hitting the bridezilla stage. Less than three weeks before my big day (alam ko paulit ulit) but I can't help feel agitated at some point. OC problems eh. So back to blogging before I start blabbing about my woes on wedding planning, one of the products, I swear by is the Burt's Bees Lipbalm. There are tons of lip balms out there that I have tried that looks and feels moisturizing on the lips but all these balms do is just sit on my lips.

Burt's Bees Lipbalm is a 100%  lip conditioner that has been a cult favorite since 1991. Now, Burt's Bees has a wide variety of lip balms suitable for every need where it be nourishing, conditioning or soothing. I got full sized samples from Sampleroom (www.sampleroom.ph) and I could not be any happier. I got a year's supply!! Thank you Sampleroom! My ultimate favorite is the Beeswax Lipbalm which is the original version.

I first tried the Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm with Kokum Butter.

Kiss dry lips goodbye. Clinically proven to offer 4 hours of long-lasting moisturization, this ultra-hydrating lip conditioner is infused with rich Kokum, Shea, and Cocoa Butters. Giving you more butters and less wax than other balms, so your lips will be left soft and super smooth. It's hydration at its very highest, with no added flavors or fragrances.
  • Clinically proven to moisturize for 4 hours with 1 application
  • Hypoallergenic with no added flavors or fragrances
  • Replenishes skin with Kokum, Cocoa and Shea Butters that melt on lips
  • Leaves lips feeling soft, supple and healthy
This is extra moisturizing compared to the Original Burt's Bees lipbalm and it helps heal the sores and wound on my lips cause by dryness. I tend to peel off the skin on my lips, hence, the wounds. You may refer to my photos below. This Ultra Conditioning Lipbalm is a treatment/ lipbalm all in one. It did not irritate my lips despite having wounds. It soothes my dry lips and hydrated it for hours. I love applying it before putting on makeup or at night as an overnight treatment. I love that it has a very subtle scent. It does not have any white pasty appearance when applied to the lips. It works well with my lipsticks, lip tints and even lip liners. It gives off a bit of sheen on the lips which makes it a perfect combo for matte lip lacquer and lipsticks. This costs 375 pesos.
I wanted to try and open some flavors but I decided not to because  I have not yet finished the Ultra Lip Conditioning. Here are some of the variants that I received:

1. Repleneshing Lip Balm with Pomegranate
2. Rejuvenating Lip Balm with Acai Berry
3. Nourishing Lip Balm with Mango Butter
4. Island Lip Balm with Passion Fruit
5. Soothing Lip Balm with Eucalyptus and Menthol
6. Refreshing Lip Balm with Pink Grapefruit
7. Honey Lip Balm

The aforementioned lipbalms cost 325 pesos each. They also have new flavors: Wild Cherry Lip Balm, Vanilla Bean Lip Balm and Coconut and Pear Lip Balm.
