Review: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths

We all have good habits and of course, bad ones. I have developed the good habit of thoroughly cleansing my face before going to sleep. For the past years, I have never slept with makeup on. Seriously. I have always tried my best to remove all the dirt and gunk on my face before the day ends. One of my favorite makeup removers is in the form of a facial cloth or tissue. This year, Cetaphil, one of my trusted skin care brands launched their Gentle Cleansing Cloths. This is housed in a convenient pack with a plastic flap covering that makes it perfect for travel.

The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths costs 235 pesos for one pack and it has 25 sheets. This is a pre moistened tissue that keeps skin fresh and clean after every wipe. It does not have a strong scent. The facial cloth has embossed dots all over creating a soft texture and gradient. This makeup remover is specially formulated for sensitive skin. This is ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested too. It is quite interesting to note that this cleansing tissue is ophthalmologist tested. I have had a few experience on getting blurry vision and stinging on some makeup removers. Good thing, Cetaphil Cleansing Cloths does not irritate my eyes nor did it cause my skin to break out from repeated use.

The moist of the cleansing cloths is enough to remove makeup and gunk in one swipe. This can remove mascara, eyeliner, foundation and other makeup. The size of the cloth is big enough to remove my entire makeup. I need not use a second cloth except when I put on a heavy face makeup and full on eye makeup look. This can remove 70% - 90% of my eye makeup.  Removing eye makeup can be quite tricky because there are products that truly have that budge proof quality like an eyelash glue that gets left behind even after washing or a waterproof mascara. I am very particular in removing eye makeup because I am afraid that I will be like my aunt. When I was younger, I noticed that she does not remove her makeup completely especially her eyeliner and eye shadow after a day's work. Then, after a few years, I noticed that her eyes looked heavily tinted (lid and lash line area) and such discoloration could not even be remedied by concealer. Yikes! Ganon kalala.
This cleansing cloth is travel friendly and is very convenient to pack especially on a trip abroad. This can even double as a face freshener and sweat/oil remover for the neck and arms during warm and humid weather. This does not leave a sticky or uncomfortable feel after every use.
Overall, this is a very nice cleansing cloth that does not irritate my skin, does not sting my eyes and removes makeup well. Cetaphil Cleansing Cloths are available at leading supermarkets and drugstore nationwide.
