I will be on a blogging marathon for the next few days because I do not have much in my work calendar. Ang saya diba? hehe I got invited by Detail Makeover to their Anniversary Launch but I was not able to attend due to conflict in schedule. Detail Makeover was generous enough to send me their Anniversary Bundle Box. I was extra thrilled to receive this PR Kit primarily because of the Metallics Eyeshadow Palette. I had swatched this over and over again at SM because I really wanted to buy it (buti na lang nagpigil ako or else 2 ang palette ko.. hihi).

Right off the bat, I will tell you that I adore this palette. From the color selection to the pigmentation to the texture, this is by far the best local eyeshadow palette I have ever tried. The eyeshadows are more like press pigments because of the super rich color pay off. The texture is soft and buttery. With one swipe, my finger can readily pick up the product sans any major fall out. These shadows have intense shimmer and shine making the colors look extra vibrant. Some may think that this palette is only for meant for glam occasions. I beg to disagree. This palette has two layers of very wearable everyday shades. I wear Pallas and Mira in court hearings! hahaha I applied it using my pinky finger with a very light hand. You can apply this wet or dry. Since, these shadows have a very dramatic and intense shine, I prefer using my fingers to apply these shadows. I can control the intensity of the eyeshadow when I use my pinky finger as my applicator. For extreme shine, spritz a flat shader brush with water before dipping onto the eyeshadow and apply the product in a pressing manner on the lid to get that ultimate color pay off. I can use these shadows on their own or without any primer. They also blend well on the lids.

The color pay off is amazing!!!!What you see on the pan is the same when you swatch the shadows and apply it on the lid.

This palette has an intense creamy black eyeshadow that can even pass off as a gel liner due to its pigmentation!!

I really think that this palette is definitely a winner in my book and also the best one in the local beauty market. What is your favorite eyeshadow?
