Hi everyone.. Yup.. you read the title right.

I am saying goodbye to blogger and this will be my last post. |
Kidding.. You know I am studying for my big exams this November. Being a lawyer is my ultimate dream. Blogging is just a past time. Anyways.. Let us change topic and I will show you stuffs that I bought and products sent to me for review. The first picture is a felt tip liner sent to me by KKCENTERHK. Here is a link of the product.
NYX Round Lipgloss and Megashine
This are the prizes from Sol's giveaway contest. I just want to share the swatches to all of you. Here they are:
NYX Round Lipgloss
in STRAWBERRY
Sorry for the blurry picture. I tried to capture the color of this gloss. This gloss is not too pigmented but gives you just the right hint of color. Strawberry is a sheer pink with subtle shimmers. It is almost identical with Peach
NYX Round Lipgloss
in PEACH
Coralish pink on color with subtle shimmers. I like this better than Strawberry. It reallysuits my medium yellow skin tone.
NYX Goddess of the Night
Megashine Gloss in Lollipop
Goddess of the Night (Megashine Glosses) are way better than their rough lipgloss. It is more pigmented and the consistency is thicker too. I am not disturbed by the cough syrup scent. I find it yummy.. weird me. Lollipop is a nice frosted light peach. Contrary to most frosted gloss that I have tried, this compliments my warm skin tone. IT has subtle gold shimmers too. This looks best when paired with smokey eyes.
NYX Round Lipstick Castle
This is a very weird color for me. It is a lavender shade with a hint of frosted silver in it. I really do not know how to pull this off. Perhaps a pink gloss on top of it will solve my problem. :D
For shade comparison
Hi girls.. I want to share with you swatches of NYX blushes. I really love their powder blushes because of their wide array of shades and they go on very smoothly when applied. They are very pigmented too. The downside -- chalky and too powdery. They are also very fragile, my first NYX blush almost crumbled to pieces when I accidentally dropped it. Their rouge cream blushes are LOVE. I honestly want all shades. I fell in love with HOT PINK. They are very thick, creamy and super pigmented. However, I do not use it when I have rashes because it tends to highlight them especially dry patches on my skin.
Here are the blushes I got from SOl's giveaway.
NYX ROUGE CREAM BLUSH in ORANGE
Shade Description: This looks bright orange on the pan but it goes on smoothly like a muted orange on my NC37 skin.
NYX Powder Blushes
NYX BLUSH in ANGEL
Shade Description: Soft pale pink with slightest hint of shimmer
NYX BLUSH in SPICE
Shade Description:reddish dusty rose
NYX BLUSH in RED
Shade Description: neutral brown perfect for contouring and as a bronzer (this looks a lot like taupe on the pan but this looks way healthier and perfect for summer)
Have a nice day everyone.
This is the very first time I have ever won in a giveaway. I was thrilled to see my name in Sol's site. I really love NYX goodies alot. Specifically, I have been lemming for their rouge cream blush in orange. And my dream of having my first ever MAC lipstick was answered. teehee. I promised myslef to splurge on MAC goodies on my first ever paycheck as a lawyer.. (hopefully, if God permits I will become one right?) Thank you Sol for your nice giveaway.
Hello everyone. Finally a new post after three weeks of hiatus. Here is my small nyx haul purchased way back in january 2010. This is my first haul for 2010 and I absolutely love everything.
I bought it here:
http://digitaltraincase.multiply.com^Thank god for this site because it offers NYX items at a very affordable price.
NYX rouge cream blush in HOT PINKI am so in love with this blush. When I got it, I was really bewildered with its texture which is akin to a melted lipstick but when I applied on my cheek it was so pretty. I always have a hard time choosing pink blushes because they turn peachy pink on me after application but this one never failed me. It is very pigmented and glides smoothly on my skin. I just dab a very small amount on my cheek and voila -- dolly flushed cheeks in an instant.I will definitely buy a few more shades of this blush and I am looking forward to the ff. shades: orange, natural and red cheek.
^ look at its rich and creamy texture
NYX powder blush in TAUPEAnother great blush from is Taupe. This is perfect for contouring. This looks so natural on my medium skin tone (NC37). It does not look muddy when applied which is really good in defining the cheek bones and my nose bridge. The pigmentation of this blush in just right. However, I find it very soft for a powder blush and tends to crumble easily but not chalky at all. Also, this tends to have a grayish cast on my skin. There are times when this just don't look healthy on me and I use my Ella matte bronzer in light roast instead.
Here is the swatch of Taupe:
NYX Jumbo pencil in MILK
This has a very good color pay off. It is very creamy and glides smoothly. I find this pencil very useful since I use it to highlight my brow bone and the tear duct. The use of this pencil does not stop there because I also use this as my e/s base ever since I ran out of my artdeco. I applied it thinly on my lid and made my e/s more vibrant. And it makes e/s appear more matte!! I really love that fact because i like matte e/s more compared to shimmery ones. However, this creases on my dry lid but when used over a primer it stays longer.

^^ When used as an e/s base
Last valentine's day, bf and I went out for dinner at Patio Guernica, a spanish restaurant here in manila. We had a great time that night. Food porn up next:
