These are hydro matte tints that have a very unique texture and feel. It claims to be moistirizing despite having a matte finish. It feels like a siliconey gel tint once applied but dries up like a matte liquid lipstick. The color pay off is really rich and it gets more vivid once the tint has fully dried down. It gives my lips that blurring effect and does not emphasize the lip lines. It is lightweight and feels comfortable when worn. It is not heavy like the maybelline superstay matte ink. This is probably the most non-drying matte liquid lipstick that I own.  It has a faint sweet chocolate scent and comes with a doe foot applicator. 

These tints have a very nice color selection. The colors are not too bright and neon-ish like the usual korean tints. The colors are very wearable but I find Nos. 1-3 quite similar. The shades are recomended based on your color season.

#1 Analog Rose (Neutral Warm/Winter ) - This is a neutral red. 

#2 Vintage Red (Warm Autumn Deep) - This is a reddish orange. It may look similar woth # 1 but this is more warm. This is my fave shade. It really brightens my face.

#3 Mellow Peach (Warm Autumn Mute) - I did not get this shade as I have tons of peach lipsticks in my stash. I should have gotten this instead of No. 4 :( 

#4 Ginger Milk Tea (Warm Autumn Mute) - This is a beige brown color which I really find unflattering on my medium yellow skin tone. I got this shade of curiosity but I ended up disliking it. It may probably work with smokey eyes on me but not for everyday wear.

#5 Midnight Mauve (Warm Summer Mute) - This is a pretty medium mauve pink. I love this shade as well because it gives off a spring vibe.

These tints live up to its claim of being transfer proof when worn underneath a mask. It also fades nicely and evenly after eating. 

Overall, these tints are really great finds!!! These are currently my favorite tints. I highly recommend the shades No. 2 and No. 5. I hope Etude House will release more shades (more pinks pls).

Since the start of 2021, I have been on a hunt for a long wearing lip product that won't smudge underneath a mask. Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink is one of the first liquid lipsticks that I have tried years ago and still one my best bet. Maybelline has released tons of shades from nudes to reds. They recently sent me these two colors perfect for the summer. 

Versatile is a pretty medium peach.

Self Starter is a bright coral orange.

Both shades are suitable for everyday wear.

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink is a creamy liquid lipstick. This product is very pigmented and covers my dark lip lines very well sans lip liner. It may feel tacky upon initial application but after it sets, this product feels like nothing on the lips. This does not set instantly and takes a few minutes to dry which is okay because I have time to blend and spread the product. This does not bleed nor make my lips crack. It does not also emphasize the dry flaky skin on my lips. It is really long wearing and transfer proof once it set. It does smugde if you eat. It also has a fragrant sweet scent which I am not fond of. It is best applied thinly and spread over with the use of the fingers. I suggest using a good oil or balm cleanser helps remove the product easier.

I know that the latest buzz right now is the Hydragloss from Issy and Co. because this is their newest product. 💦 Since I am not a fan of gloss this pandemic,  I will be skipping this new release. For this post, I will finally review The  Activating Skin Tint after almost 2 months of use. For reference, I have dry sensitive skin. For the shade I chose Beech which is perfect for my light to medium skin tone and I have warm neutral yellow undertones. I think I finally got my color skin color/tone after a decade. Beech is  slightly lighter than my skin tone but blends well after  few minutes after application. This product contains SPF 35 and contains Niacinamide. 

I gave this a try because of the raves about it from youtubers and other influencers. The first time I tried it, I was not impressed. My skin at that time was at its worst (red angy prosiriasis flare ups). It did not  cover my red patches and it did not blend well with my skincare. I even need to effortly blend the product on my face for it to adhere better and look better on my skin. Fast forward to May, I am really enjoying this product because I have better skin now. The coverage of this tint is sheer to light. 

Pros:

1. This has a very refreshing feel as it gives a very slight cooling sensation in a good way. 

2. This feels very hydrating and gives a beautiful dewy glow.

3. This is great for everyday wear as it feels like nothing when worn.

4. Evens out my skin tone but does not cover my dark circles and other imperfections.

5. It does nol

6.The color range is good for a Filipino brand.

7. It has SPF 35 for talhat added sun protection.

8. I love the pump tube packaging. 

Cons:

1. I need 3 pumps to get my desired coverage. (I know this is not advertised as a high coverage product. I think I will finish one tube so fast than my usual base makeup).

2. This product definitely looks better on clear smooth skin. I have used this product on two different skin conditions and I did not like it as much when I have bad skin days (note psoriasis flare ups).

3. There are times that I find it hard to blend/layer with my skincare esp. on bad skin days. 

Overall, this is a nice tint for everyday wear.

This palette is the shade Serene composed of pinks. The shimmer here has a nice pinkish peach hue. This contains a medium rose pink, light pinkish beige  and a matte light peach.

This palette is the shade Sassy. It has nice light peach, a wearable warm red, light ivory matte, and a shimmery light pink.

Sneaky is a pretty everyday neutral with taupe, dark brown, and a medium brown. The shimmer shade here is a bronze color.

My favorite is the palette - Shy. This is a super pretty neutral palette. It has a nice light brown, a medium brown color, and a beautiful matte beige. The shimmer in this palette is super gorgeous. It was not captured on my photos but t is a champagne color with purplish pink glitter specks! If there is one shade that I recommend, buy this shade.

For months, I have been searching for a transfer-proof lip product that I can use underneath a mask. After doing a bit of research, I bought the Peripera Ink the Tattoo. I got three shades King Pink, Enjoy Orange, and Sunny Red. I have high hopes on these tints and boy, they did not may fail my expectation. The Periper Ink The Tattoo are highly pigmented lip tints. These tints have a watery gel consistency and their pigmentation is one of the best I have tried. These have a subtle fruity scent. It applies evenly on the lips and does not settle on the lines and dry areas. These tints are truly budge proof. I have worn these on errands underneath a mask and it did not transfer at all. The color is really long lasting and the staining effect can last even after eating. What I really love about these tints is that they do not dry my lips! They feel moisturizing once applied and adheres comfortably on the lips. These tints can also be used as a lip base for lipsticks for a long lasting color. What I disliked about these tints? The shade range is very limited. This only comes in 5 colors

01 King Pink - bright fuschia pink

02 Infuse Coral - neon coral 

03 Enjoy Orange - true orange

04 Sunny Red - reddish orange

05 Enriched Chili - brownish red

All these shades are bright except for the 05 Enriched which is a very warm brownish red. I really regret choosing 03 over 05. These shades are really bright esp. 01 and 03. The color sometimes look awkward on my yellow skintone; so, applying the right amount is key. These also remain true to color and do not change overtime. I have a bad experience with peripera tints before where they turn neon pink on my lips after hours of usage. I really hope they release more shades that are warmer. I am also checking their Ink Tattoo Stick which has more shades. Has anyone tried this? 

 I bought these on shoppee at singsing.ph store for 350 pesos each. What is your favorite lip tint?

K-Palette Philippines sent me with their newest K-Palette Procast The Eyeliner. This comes in four shades:

▪️Icy Black - intense black

▪️Chocolat Brown Black - neutral brown black

▪️Cocoa Brown - medium everyday brown

▪️Azuki - deep reddish brown

This newest eyeliner sets the benchmark for an eyeliner. It boasts of a 1:290 ratio where the tip has only one brush strand and the base is thick with 290 brush strands.  With its it very fine tip, this eyeliner can precisely create the thinnest of lines and even bold flicks.  This glides so smoothly without tugging. The pigmentation is top of the line. It is sweatproof, waterproof, and budgeproof too. 

Staying power is awesome. This sets easily and stays put throughout the day without smudging. I love the shades cocoa brown and azuki a lot! The formula is watery and upon application,  the finish of these liners has a slight sheen but dries to a semi matt finish. These liner did not irritate my sensitive eyes. This liner is priced at 895 pesos and is available online at beautyboxcorp shop and at beauty bar, rustan's, and sm/watsons stores.

For weeks, I have been contemplating on buying Detail Cosmetics Velvet Flush. Velvet Flush is a product collaboration of Detail Cosmetics and two Filipino Youtuber (Mae Layug and Rei Germar). I finally caved in and bought two shades that I really really like.  Velvet Flush is a multiuse mousse cream product for the eyes, lip, and cheeks. This product is enriched with Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Avocado Oil. The product weighs 8 grams and is good for 12 months after opening. It costs 249 pesos each.

I got Lucas - a warm beige brown shade and Bo - a deep rosewood color. These two shades are really pretty and unique. I thought they look similar with 3CE Diotima and Cabbage Rose but these shades look different. This product is a cream blush with a very velvety texture. This feels so smooth when applied. It does not set easily set. It is very easy to use and the product felt like melting with the warmth of the fingers. It looks matte with a powdery finish when applied on the lips. This gives off a very natural flush of color on the cheeks. It can be applied on top of powder or underneath but I prefer it on top of powder. Staying power is really good. It lasts 3-4 hrs on my cheeks and even longer esp when properly set with powder. It also does not budge even when worn under a mask. On the lips , it feels like a lightweight matte lipstick and lasts 3 to 4 hours the most but fades easily after eating. This is not transfer proof. This really looks pretty when worn as an eyeshadow.

After my obsession with cheek tints, I am now in the eye makeup phase. I bought a lot of eyeshadows and eyeliners. I figured that eye makeup is "in" or the trend since half of the face will be covered with mask until we dont know when. When Ever Bilena released these shadows sticks last 2019, I must admit that I was notimpressed. The colors were not my cup of tea except for the shade Bronze. Then, I saw a youtube video swatchinh these shadow sticks and I got really curious about the shade Copper. When Lazada went on sale, I purchased the whole set because the price was such a steal. I only paid 585 for the 4 shadow sticks with shipping.  Each stick retail for 195 pesos if not on sale. The shadow stick weighs 0.5 grams.
