Hi everyone.. This is a new segment of my blog.. apart from the reviews and other tutorials I decided that i will copy looks from celebrities, models, advertisements or even MAC face chart. I will start this very simple look from Dara Park. I really love her cat eyed look.. Her eyeliner is long and sexy. I really love the glow that most Koreans have. They look really fresh and super pretty..
Here's a quick tutorial:
1. Prime your lids. I use the all natural face eyeshadow primer. Apply grayish eyeshadow on the lid. The quad I am using is from revlon, the color is sandstorm.
2. For more depth, sweep some matte brown eyeshadow on the crease.
3. Highlight the brow bone with beige eyeshadow. Blend very well to soften the edges of your eyeshadow.
4. Add black liquid eyeliner thickly on your upper lid. I use Nichido liquid eyeliner.
5. Line your waterline with black eyeliner. I use Milani Color Brilliance in black and highlight the inner corner of your eyes with a shimmery beige eyeshadow from my giovi palette.
6. Put on some mascara and define your brows. For mascara, I use Missha The style 4d mascara and for the brows, I use elf studioline brow kit in dark. Also, smudge a bit of shimmery gray eyeshadow on your lower lashline
7. To achieve that glow, sweep some light shimmery blush. I use rimmel blush in pink rose. Contour your cheeks and nose. I use elf pressed powder in no. 4 as a matte bronzer. For highlighter, I use elf bronzer in luminance.
8. For the lips, I use NYX lipstick in Thalia with Avon lipglaze in darling pink.
The Final Look for the eyes: ^^ I use my favorite falsies, the half type from saizen.
Hi everyone. I guess a lot of you have heard the tragedy brought by typhoon Ondoy to our country. I have my own set of experience with Ondoy which is remarkably a life changing one. Last Saturday, I woke up around 330 am to study for that day's subject. I already noticed the incessant drizzle of rain. I was awaiting as early as 4am for class suspension but no announcement came. I went to school with dad as my driver. I arrived at UST before 9 am and saw students going to school. I told my dad that I will go ahead. After 15 mins or so, the office announced suspension and the rain started pouring hard. I joined my 3 other boy classmates in going home, one of whom has a car. We drop other classmates of ours at their houses because dapitan by that time is already flooded. My classmate drove all the way to e. rodriqguez and to our amazement flood had already set in. We decided not to push thru and my dad advised us to go to Puregold E.Rodriguez. We arrived their at 10 am and ate brunch. We are waiting patitently for the rain to stop. But it did'nt. It continued raining for hours. I did not think of buying any water nor food because i never thought it would take that long. The scariest thing happened. The floods cannot be controlled anymore. I saw tha bus slowly submerging in water and other cars are soon gone. But the worse is still to come,, water entered Puregold Grocery. I started crying and praying.. Memories of my 23 years of existence started flashing in my mind. I was afraid that if the rain did not stop it would fill up the whole store with us and other customers in it. I thought I would die that day... that night.. that moment. I do not know how to swim and the flood was way above the height of man. Inside the store, We are about 100+ waiting for the rain to stop, the floods to die down. I slept at the cashier (the one where you grocery stuffs are being packed). There was no electricity. I asked my dad to call for help but he sternly told me he won't. WHy? He told me that There are hundreds who need more help than us. People stuck at the top of their roof without anything. We just ate bread and water because that damn grocery store won't let us purchase anything!!! (However, I commend the employees who provided us with water, bread and candle). The floods just started going down at 5am. Thank God, I have arrived safely home. I have lived to witness the wrath of nature. I hope politicians will stop pocketing money which are provided for sewerage system infrastructure. Oh please. spare the Filipino Citizens of a country worth living. To the Filipinos, please stop throwing your garbage anywhere. DO YOUR PART. I, for instance, never throw candy wrappers or anything on the street. NO joke. I keep it my bag and throw it at home or at school. This little things help, a lot.
There are hundreds of families who lost their houses. The worst part is the growing number of people DEAD. Let us extend our help to these people. Magtulungan po tayo at Magdasal. Let us HELP EACH OTHER and continue praying.

As promised, here are the NYX lipstick swatches. I really love them. Creamy and not drying. My favorite of all lipstick is INDIAN PINK. The color is simply exquisite. It looks frosted golden pink on the tube but the color itself is very unique when applied. Also, I ordered colors which are not that shocking or at least on the shades of pinks and neutrals. Another, my two other favorite is perfect and b52. When swatched, they look almost the same. B52 is a beautiful MLLB shade (my lips buts better) which is perfect for everyday. B52 is a natural shade with a hint of pink and brown. Perfect looks like a neutral brown shade. Further, my search for that hot pink lips is over!! Louisiana as the picture below shows speaks for itself!! Very pretty HOT pink. I got these lippies from mscuppycakes. I still have not received my other 3 lippies and no reply yet from mscuppycakes..
** mscuppycakes emailed me and she will be shipping the other items.. yey**
Hi ladies!! I have been trying to focus on my studies lately.. steering away from blogging and makeup is a tough job.. hehe.. I have been hauling some stuffs over the past week and month. I ordered Nyx round lipsticks from mscuppycakes. I love them all. I will post swatches soon. However, I was supposed to get 12 lipsticks and 1 concealer for a friend but I only received 9.. I was really worried but i opened the package and there was no sign of tampering plus the envelope was sealed. The order sheet only showed nine lipsticks but the credit card billing statement showed that I have paid for the three other lipsticks and the concealer. I am still awaiting the response from mscuppycakes. I will still order from her soon.. I want more lipstick and I want to try their cream blushes too.
I ordered their Vegan Eyeshadow PRIMER w/ mini vegan eyeliner/brow brush. This costs $4.00 with $1.25 as shipping fee. Honestly I was not that excited to receive this but wow I got samples (a lot of samples concealer, blush, highlighter and eyeliner and eyeshadow sealant). I was really thrilled. I will purchase more from Ms. Crystal!! Really amazing.

My Freebies. For 257 pesos I got all of this!! WOW!!
I am reverting to my all time favorite powder foundation: In2it oil Control foundation. This powder is L-O-V-E!!
My new discoveries: I always wanted to make eskinol work me,, I have tried a lot of variants and this one is definitely the best!! It is now a staple on my skin care routine.
I also took advantage of Pond's Big Blowout Sale. I forgot to take a picture of the eye cream and the concentrated serum.
That's it.. I am still waiting for stuffs from ebay and I am planning to buy foundations from the face shop. :D Have a nice day everyone.
Hi everyone. No classes today that is why I have the time to do this EOTD. However, my skin is not in good condition right now that is why this is only an EOTD. I have been seeing a lot of women wearing the blue e/s lately and I wanted to do a look with a twist. I added some pink for a change. I guess this is one look that I did that is really wearable. NO BOLD or WILD colors.. hihi.. This look is definitely perfect for night time. So here are the simple steps on how to create this look:
First, prime your lids. Here, I use my home made e/s Primer.
Apply some pink e/s on the lid.
Sweep some blue e/s on the crease and on the outer V.
For the smokey effect, add a bit of black e/s on top og the blue e/s. Then blen, blend, blend.
Apply a silver shimmery e/s a little on top of the crease and the blend the colors.
Highlight your brow bone with beige e/s to achieve a clean look.
Add white e/s on your tear duct to open up your eyes. Then add blue eyeliner on your lower lashline and smudge it off with a black e/s. Apply black eyeliner on your upper lashline.
Finally, apply your mascara or false lashes. Don't forget to fill in your brows for a more defined look.
