Hi everyone!! Miss me? I hope so.. School is getting harder than ever. Hopefully, I am on my final year in law school this coming school year that is why I need to stay more disciplined. Ergo, less time for blogging. :C
I want to share with you a nice lipstick that I am currently loving. I have an innately dark lips since I was just a child. Hence, I would always wear darker shades of lipstick and a lip liner is an essential product to conceal it.I would get envious with girls who could pull off a peach lipstick or a baby pink lipstick without looking fake or anything. I have tried NYX pumpkin pie but it was not that pigmented enough to cover my dark lips. Thanks to my bestfriend for buying me this product in Walmart. I got the chance to try this lipstick from WetnWild. It is Megalast Lipcolor in Just Peachy. I have seen a lot of nice reviews about this line from them. I wanted to try peach this time since I have found my perfect pink lipstick in the likeness of NYX fig.
Look how pigmented it is in this picture.. I did not even use any lip liner here.
Lips take center stage! This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamins A & E help smooth lips.

They have 20 shades in this line. I was really worried with this lipstick when I got it. First, the packaging looks tacky for my taste and it looks so dry and hard to apply. To my amazement, this is very creamy and very pigmented. (a notch better than nyx round lipstick in my opinion). However, there is a need to first moisturize your lips.
Over all, this product is really nice!I want to try their other shades except anything with pink hues. How I wish wetnwild will be available in the Philippines again. :C
Update: I wonbeautynomics 'minute maid contest!! WHOA!! I was really thrilled and surprised when she emailed me. Ohhh.. I can't wait to claim my kiehl's prizes and hopefully, I will have time for the makeup class soon. Thanks Sophie and Minute Maid for choosing me.

Skin MD Natural is a shielding lotion, a very special type of lotion helping the skin restore its integrity, enhance its protective functions so that the skin is able to heal naturally and regain its youthful appearance. Skin MD Natural works by bonding with cells of the skin's outermost layer to form what works as an invisible shield. This layer of protection prevents environmental irritants and pollutants from penetrating the skin, while sealing in the skin's own natural oils and moisture, helping resolve the dry skin condition. Skin MD Natural uses only the finest natural ingredients, and is focused on urging the skin to be active, and to use its own moisture to effectively heal itself. It is not oily or sticky, doesn't sit on top of your skin leaving a greasy residue on everything you touch, it doesn't rub or wash off easily, is hypoallergenic, fragrance, colorant and paraben free and dermatology tested.
I was given the opportunity by 21st Century Formulations to try out a sample of their skin md shielding lotion. I finished the whole bottle for a month and I absolutely love it. Honestly speaking I am not into lotions because I find them sticky due to our humid weather here in the Phils. but this lotion is an exception. I used it on my legs and arms and they feel soft and well moisturized without any greasiness at all. I have super dry skin and I apply it only once every after bath. It keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day. I experienced no skin irritations and it even helped my psoriasis from flaring up. I really recommend this lotion to those who have sensitive skin.
Skin MD Natural is over 93% "natural" which is well within the highest echelon of actual percentage of natural ingredients of all products that have the word "natural" on their label. The ingredients in Skin MD Natural that are not "natural" are of food or medical grade and on FDA's most safe list. The first thing I noticed when I received this product is that it is PARABEN -FREE. Nice right? I am rest assured that slathering this lotion on my skin will not cause any irritation nor adverse effects on my health and skin. The formula is very mild. I even use it on my face. The consistency is a bit watery but do not be deceive because it moisturizes really well. Over all,, this is by far one of my favorite lotion next to Nutraderm.
Hello everyone. Finally a new post after three weeks of hiatus. Here is my small nyx haul purchased way back in january 2010. This is my first haul for 2010 and I absolutely love everything.
^Thank god for this site because it offers NYX items at a very affordable price.
NYX rouge cream blush inHOT PINK I am so in love with this blush. When I got it, I was really bewildered with its texture which is akin to a melted lipstick but when I applied on my cheek it was so pretty. I always have a hard time choosing pink blushes because they turn peachy pink on me after application but this one never failed me. It is very pigmented and glides smoothly on my skin. I just dab a very small amount on my cheek and voila -- dolly flushed cheeks in an instant.I will definitely buy a few more shades of this blush and I am looking forward to the ff. shades: orange, natural and red cheek.
^ look at its rich and creamy texture
NYX powder blush in TAUPE
Another great blush from is Taupe. This is perfect for contouring. This looks so natural on my medium skin tone (NC37). It does not look muddy when applied which is really good in defining the cheek bones and my nose bridge. The pigmentation of this blush in just right. However, I find it very soft for a powder blush and tends to crumble easily but not chalky at all. Also, this tends to have a grayish cast on my skin. There are times when this just don't look healthy on me and I use my Ella matte bronzer in light roast instead.
Here is the swatch of Taupe: NYX Jumbo pencil in MILK
This has a very good color pay off. It is very creamy and glides smoothly. I find this pencil very useful since I use it to highlight my brow bone and the tear duct. The use of this pencil does not stop there because I also use this as my e/s base ever since I ran out of my artdeco. I applied it thinly on my lid and made my e/s more vibrant. And it makes e/s appear more matte!! I really love that fact because i like matte e/s more compared to shimmery ones. However, this creases on my dry lid but when used over a primer it stays longer.
Swatch of Milk:
^^ When used as an e/s base
Last valentine's day, bf and I went out for dinner at Patio Guernica, a spanish restaurant here in manila. We had a great time that night. Food porn up next:
^their salad tastes so different but ohh soo yummy
