I got this foundation because of my addiction to Filipina makeup gurus in youtube. The last time I use Ever Bilena Foundation was way back in college but it was an epic fail. Are you sensing an epic fail once again?? Hmm... I saw Say, Maricarl Janah and even Judy of itsjudytime feature this product.
Say's Channel (She's getting better and she's a cutie and very humble too!!She's a fellow Thomasian!)
This is my favorite video of hers.
Maricarl Janah's Channel
She was raving this foundation in this video.
And Finally, Judy!!
Moving on to the review, this product is available in a pump bottle too. I bought the one in a tube because I wanted to test this first because I have a bad history with Ever Bilena Foundation. I got the shade Golden but I noticed that it was a little bit lighter than my skin tone. So, I got another shade in Oriental.
The packaging is really bad!! Look at that humongous hole!! Using the tube one is really messy because the product easily squirts out of the tube. BOO!
Price:10/10 for 125 pesos for the 40 ml. This is one of the cheapest liquid foundation locally available
Packaging:3/10 Although the tube packaging is travel friendly, be ready for accidental spills inside your makeup kit or even on your fave shirt!
Coverage:4/10 I am a foundation freak and I prefer those with medium - heavy coverage especially on special occasions but not for everyday wear. I bought this for everyday wear. This has a sheer-light coverage. I need to put at least two layers to even out my skintone.
Finish:8/10 This gives me a lovely dewy glow. I just love how it makes my skin looks bright and even without making it look fake.
Lasting Effect:5/10 It can make me look fresh for an our or two. I must say that retouching is a must if you do want to look like a greaseball at the end of the day.
When blended, there is just a small difference between the two shades. Being NC37, my shade is mixture of these.I am really disappointed with local makeup companies.I have a hard time choosing the right shade. I hope they will try considering the skin tones and shades of Filipinas more.
See how sheer the coverage is?
After 2 days of using it, here's what I got! A zit on the nose. Chanelling rudolph in summer is so uncool! I even got clogged pores and bumps too! I do not know if this is the ultimate culprit. I just hope not. I stopped using it now and my face is getting better.
Transform your face into a flawless and smooth canvas with the Mineral Infused Face Primer. Developed to combat against excess oil, flaky dryness, enlarged pores and fine lines. This clear multipurpose skin primer will prepare your skin so makeup goes on evenly for a long lasting satin finish.
This is probably the 4th primer I have tried. Honestly, I am not into face primers because I hardly see any difference between using one and not using any. When ELF released this, I just knew I have to get one and try it for myself. (Well, you all know how much I love ELF products!)
The packaging comes in this sleek pump bottle which looks really nice, however, do not get deceived. The bottle look bigger in person but in truth the amount of product is less. I really think the pump is ingenious! I love it when the product was still full because after 6 or more usage it does not work anymore. So, you have to twist the cap and scoop out the contents! The last time I used it the pump worked again. I think you should give the product a whirl using a spatula or a stick and try shaking it before use. The product is a clear and thick gel. It reminds me of The Face Shop Span Primer I bought years ago because of the hype. Actually, I was not impressed with that one at all but this primer is different. Having dry skin with occasional rash break out makes my skin rough and uneven at times, using this made my skin super silky smooth! The effect was instant. I need not wait the whole day to figure that this product will work. Upon application, my face became smoother.
You just need a pea size amount for you entire face. It makes my foundation lasts longer. And what I really love about this is that it resolved my ultimate dilemma -- making my undereye concealer lasts. I know some people would have raccoon eyes at the end of the day. I, on the other hand would have bulging eye bags due to the fact that my concealer faded! I hate it.
Look at my under eyes in this picture!! yay!!
I used it on my graduation. Ohh I did my hair and makeup here!! woohoo

Hi everyone!! I miss blogging so much!! I was very busy preparing for my graduation. I will post pictures soon. Anyways, this is one of my new lippies. I remembered Dara Park's Etude House commercial wearing orange blush and lips. I do not know if this is the one she is wearing.
It is twistable lippy which comes in this cute orange packaging. It actually looks like a crayola to me like those twistable crayons.
It comes really sheer but very shiny on the lips. Sadly, it cannot cover my dark lip lines.
The color is a nice peachy sheen.
Sorry for the very short post. I am really having a hard time using my bf's laptop. My computer crashed a few weeks ago. One of the few reasons I am MIA. BTW,I am now using a new camera. Is it obvious? I bet not. I am still getting used to it. I am playing with its features and hopefully I will also master using it. This is not the one I really wanted but Sony just kept moving the release dates of their new camera. This have 16mp and 10x zoom function. Have a nice day everyone!! Hopefully, I will do few looks before I get busy again.
