These products were sent to me by Yves Rocher. I hesitated at first because the line Sebo Vegetal is for combination to oily skin and y'all know I have combination to dry skin. So kiber na lang kasi I thought of my siblings and the fiance. They have very oily skin, so, in case I will not like these products I will just give it to them. Ganon ako kabait! Chos! I was surprised that I got almost the whole line but not the mattifying gel which I would love to try talaga (not as a skin care product per se but as a primer). Did you know that Yves Rocher is the no. one of the skin care brand in France? IKR! Sosyal!!
Yves ROcher developed a baikal powder and incorporated it in their Sebo Vegetal Line. This Baikal Powder is specially formulated to for combination for combination to oily skin.
Okay. My general thought on this Sebo Vegetal line is that---the products smell amaazing! They smell super fresh and very clean (but not too fragrant for my taste). The line has that organic and herbal-ish feel to it because of the green packaging. (hmm.. kaya nga vegetal,, I am assuming vegetal refers to vegetables? )

This is very gentle gel cleanser. I am in love with this product. As in! It works well for my dry sensitive skin although it is primarily designed for those with oily skin. This cleanser feels so good and refreshing after every use and remarkably, it does not make skin feel tight. I use this every night to remove excess sebum and to prevent my skin from acne.
It is a gel type facial cleanser that lathers really well.
Purifying Micellar Water 2in1 -Php 495
I have been hearing a lot about Micellar water primarily due to world wide rave of Bioderma. (na hindi ko pa nattry hehe). Micellar Waters first gained their popularity in Paris. The purpose of Micellar water is to clean the skin by removing impurities and eliminating excess sebum and at the same time, this acts as a makeup remover. I used this to remove my makeup and it works. Hindi ko ineexpect that it can remove my mascara. I just placed the cotton pad on top of my eyes and wait for my lashes and lid to absorb the product and afterwards I gently rub it off. And viola, no makeup! I just experienced a bit of warm/hot sensation on my lids which I do not get whenever I use my Ponds Cold Cream. This also works as a toner but I use this as a makeup remover. My skin feels so clean and refreshed after every use of this product. I am even tempted to skip cleanser especially on nights when I feel awfully tired with work because this gets the job (of removing my makeup) done really well.
Yves Rocher Sebo Vegetal Pore Minimizing Serum - Php 1195
This is perfect for those with oily skin because it settles instantly once applied. It is a bit liquidy but dries quickly. I used this more than five times I think but stopped using it because I do not large pores to deal with. I noticed that it made my skin felt tighter after every use. I gave my bottle to my fiance who needs this badly. I wonder if this is working for him.. :)
Sebo Vegetal Zero Blemish Gel Cream - Php 795
This has a very thick/heavy creamy gel consistency but once applied it feels light and is easily absorbed by the skin. It reminds me of Neutrogena Hydroboost but this cream feels like a splash of hydrating water on the face. This is one of the products that I have been enjoying in this line. I have been using it daily. And I have already gone through 1/4 of the product and if you could discern on the picture I have scooped out a lot of product in there. I use two kinds of moisturizers daily to keep my skin well hydrated and this is one of my daily moisturizers. I am quite impressed with this product, in particular, because it gives my skin that extra boost of hydration. This one has been keeping my inverted pimples at bay too.
Over all, I find this line very nice and surprisingly, the products worked well on my combination to dry skin. I highly recommend the cleanser and zero blemish cream to my readers. Considering that these products are made in France and they are affordable (hello 495 na cleanser na Made in France, why not?), I am highly considering buying their products again but I want to try their hydra vegetal line instead. The hydra Vegetal line is suited for normal to dry skin.
