Mary Kay Skinvigorate Cleansing Brush and Timewise Cleanser Review

Vanity Deals is an online shop that sells Marykay and does preorders of US cosmetic brands. I was lucky enough to receive a message from them a month ago if I want to try their products. I was not really sure of what to get. FYI, being a beauty blogger, I still get shy (minsan..hahaha) if online shops asked me what I liked. I prefer shops who ask me to pick products because I want to blog something that I really want parang may touch of me kasi hand picked diba?  I replied to the owner that I am unsure of what should I get and she did not hesitate to offer me this skinvigorate cleanser.  Good thing she asked me if I wanted to try this brush cleanser. I did not even thought of asking this product because it's pricey and nahiya naman ang beauty ko to ask the owner. hehe

Ang ending, super bonggang saya ko when I received this cleanser. Remember the fuzz about Clarisonic? Well, I want to try something similar but more affordable and this baby was the answer. This brush costs Php 2,390. Not bad because Clarisonic brushes costs around Php6,000 and up.

This lightweight, two-speed power brush gently massages as it thoroughly cleans skin, removing residue, dirt and makeup in seconds.

1. Removes makeup 85% better than cleansing by hand.

2. Boosts the absorption of your next skin care step.

3. Starts improving skin’s appearance immediately.
4. Helps polish away the look of past skin damage for a more even-looking complexion.
5. Softens the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

The set includes two brush heads and batteries.

This brush cleanser is very easy to use. As you can see above, it can be easily operated with these two buttons. There is a power button (lower) and another for speed control (upper). If set on the highest speed, it can rotate 400 times a minute.
This is travel friendly because it is quite lightweight (imo). Let's talk about the brush. The brush bristles are great for exfoliation. At first,  I find it too pricky for my sensitive skin but later on I realized that I need to maneuver the  brush gently over one area to another quickly. Like slowly sliding it on my cheeks towards my temple and so on. Make sure you do not stay on a certain area for too long because it might cause abrasions. I used it for only a minute or two. I do not use it everyday. I was afraid that it would cause me break outs because I have sensitive skin. This worked well with my dry flaky and rash prone skin. This magically removed my dry and itchy rashes and it turned my skin into a smooth canvass. I do recommend this to everyone especially those who do not have time for facials. This can deeply clean your skin and can remove outright the rough areas. The brush heads are replaceable and are sold for 150 pesos for two pieces. Not bad right? I love using it as I can really feel that it removes all the dirt and gunk on my face (talk about pollution diba?). I use it twice to thrice a week. This works so well with my sensitive and rash prone skin. My father got the other brush and he he loves this so much. Take note eelingero ang tatay ko ako pa ang nagbbrush sa kanya. Akala niya nasa facial center siya! Ang tinde lang. hehe

Marykay Timewise Cleanser is 3 in 1 cleanser that promiseage-fighting benefits plus three essential skin care benefits in one product, to cleanse, exfoliate and refresh – revealing younger-looking skin.It has small beads that the consistency of this product feels very gentle on the skin. This costs Php 1,175 pesos.

  1. I use Mary Kay Timewise products, and I just love it. Although it's pricey, the whole tube can last for about 6- 8 months, so I think it's more practical than buying a cleanser every other month. -- Aimee C.
