Etude House Any Cushion Cream Filter Review

This is the last cushion that I got from Etude House before giving birth. I was really curious with this cushion ever since Ma Dong Seong, one of the actors in Train to Busan, was featured in Etude House's commercial promoting this product. This has an innovative cushion that is features a net cushion different from the cushion compacts that has a sponge drenched with makeup.

The packaging of this product is very pretty! The holographic design on the cover makes it a sight to behold! It comes with the usual puff sponge which I really like. I sometimes use this to blend out my concealer and it works so beautifully in spreading the product on my under eyes.
Etude House claims:

The cream filter cushion expresses delicate cream radiance with its triple filtering effect.

This cushion has a liquid cream type formula. It has light to buildable medium coverage. I got the shade Tan which is the darkest shade. This shade has a good amount of yellow tones and almost an exact shade match for my NC30 skin. The shade is perfect and has no gray tones that gives off that mumu or ghost like effect!! This cushion is indeed brightening! It gives off a beuatiful inner glow or radiance to my skin. It covers up my imperfection naturally and can decently blur our my redness and dark cicles. Sadly, it clings to the dry areas of my face and can even empahsize my rashes. The finish is natural and semi matte. This cushion is very moisturizing. If you are like me who loves lathering rich moisturizer to prep the skin before putting on makeup, I suggest to go easy on the moisturizer as it will make this cushion prone to melting and caking. Due to its hydrating properties, this does not have a good oil control and retouching throughout the day is very much needed.
This has SPF 33 PA+++ which is perfect for everyday protection but being the sunscreen lover that I am, I still use a separate sunscreen for added protection. This has a slight white cast on photos.
A close up of my face with one side using the cushion and the other without.

Overall, I think this is a good cushion with nice coverage and hydrating properties. I hope Etude House will incorparate more of the shade Tan in their foundation and cushion makeup line.
Godbless!
