Product Spotlight: Tinted Sunscreens

Happy Sunday, everyone!!!
I wanted to purchase new products until COVID happened. Wearing masks made it made it really uncomfortable for me to wear full makeup. So, I am posting this to keep tabs on my future purchases and to remind me that I am on a no-buy phase for makeup base particularly tinted sunscreens until the end of the year or even beyond that. (So, BLK Illuminating Skin Tint, hindi kita bibilhin. 😆

Here is a rundown on my tinted sunscreens:
🌤 Sunglow by Fresh Ph Creme Tinted Sunscreen with SPF 50 PA++++ I got it in the shade medium and this has fantastic coverage for a tinted sunscreen. I will be doing a full review on this separately.

🌤It Cosmetics CC Cream with SPF 50 I got this in the shade Medium as well. I got this in Sephora KL. I must admit that it was not love at first use nor the second or the third. It took me a while to love this CC Cream. Since I use a lot of moisturizing skincare products prior to makeup application, I realized that this CC Cream does not sit well on heavy moisturizers and it tends to slip or rub off easily. So, I use lightweight moisturizer to make this work. This a dewy and moisturizing product. I loved using it when my skin has rough and dry patches and during colder season. On hot humid days (which is almost everyday in MNL), I make sure I don't overdo my skincare particularly with moisturizer and completely set this with powder or else I will experience a makeup meltdown by mid day. This has great coverage than most cc creams but it gives my skin that ethereal glow. I am not fond of the citrusy scent though.
BLK Cosmetics Skintint Sun Shield with SPF 30 I got this in the shade Butterscoth. This is an absolute winner in my book. I love this a lot. As in! (Emphasis supplied) That is why I really wanted to purchase the illuminating version. This is lightweight but has a very nice coverage. This has a nice buildable texture. Consistency is runny but goes on smoothly when applied with the use of the fingers or a wet sponge. This can cover up my imperfections and blurs out my pores really well.
Belo Tinted Sunscreen with SPF 50 PA ++++ This only has one shade and boats of a color adapting technology. It the most lightweight among all the tinted sunscreens. It has a light beige tone and does not completely adapt to my skin color once applied. It evens out my skin tone but does not cover my imperfections. I find this a bit drying and is not very hydrating. Since it has a lighter color, this tones up my complexion nicely.
MAC Studiofix Complete Coverage Cushion Compact with SPF 50 PA++++ I got this in the shade NC27 which has peach tones. This foundation has a very dewy finish. I was thinking this is comparable to the studiofix fluid foundation (which I love for years) but I was mistaken. This Cushion foundation is really hydrating but it tends to be a bit oily for our humid weather.  A good matte powder is needed to set this foundation or else, you'll end up looking like a greaseball by mid day. As for me (with dry skin), Although, this works best on my skin when I have less to none skin bumps or psoriasis flare ups. It does have the tendency to highlight my bumps and texture. I find this long wearing but not sure if it is water resistant as it claims to be.
What is your favorite tinted sunscreen?

Godbless!
