No. You are not seeing a double post. I know I have made a blog post about the brushes from Landmark before, this time they have new brushes. When I said brushes, tons of new brushes!!! I had the opportunity to pass by Landmark after my hearing (without BF with me, if he was.. He'll definitely lecture about financial literacy and I will go home empty handed.. Buti nakatakas aketch lols) and I bought three new makeup tools. Oh boy, it was a hard decision because there were a lot of good finds in Landmark.
Noconi Blender Sponge
This costs only 124 pesos. It is not as bouncy and soft like the beauty blender even when wet. I love the grip of this brush and for 124 pesos, why complain? haha
Finally, a new kabuki brush. I got this 149 pesos. This is soft and really dense. I washed it a while ago and it did not bleed but it did shed a few hair.
A flat top kabuki that costs 144.75 pesos only. This is way bigger than the Artist Studio Angled Flat Top. It is as soft as a baby's cheeks. hihi It did not shed nor bled when I washed it.
The brushes you will see at Landmark Trinoma. It was a a feast to a beauty enthusiasts' eyes!
Colorful brushes
Bamboo handles like Ecotools but cheaper.. This set costs 409 pesos if I am not mistaken.
Cute and colorful Kabuki brushes
Lastly, new brushes of Artist Studio with white handles. The stippling brush caught my eye. Now, I think I must go back to get one!! It only cost 129 pesos.
Do you love cheap thrills?
I do!!! What are you waiting for? Sugod na sa Landmark! haha
(Hmm..I should really get paid for always promoting Landmark talaga! joke!)
Godbless!

Is it really November? Oh dear.. I can not believe that I will be turning 28 next week and I have not even got a hang of being 27 due to the whirlwind I been through. Yay! I have been undergoing a lot (yes.. madrama ang buhay ko.. or so I think it is.. haha) lately and I was not looking forward to my birthday at all. It seems the heavens has been favoring me despite the unsavory circumstance that I am in. Look what came in early for my 28th birthday!! I bought this Lise Watier Cosmetiques Portfolio Professional Correctors from Bon Marche. This is Canada's No. 1 corrector. I can still remember my reaction when I first saw Lise Watier featured in one of Michelle Phan's videos back in 2009. I wanted it so badly but nobody sells one locally and even online. I got this for
only 890 pesos at Bon Marche website:

Also, Thank you so much Bon Marche for my first ever Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palette. Yes, my first ever! This palette is truly a memorable one. Being kuripot has prevented me from buying any makeup that has been categorized as high end. This is a great start for my professional makeup artist kit. I have been planning to buy more high end goodies in preparation for my makeup gigs in the future. Brands like Inglot, Nars, MUFE, Kryolan, MAC, Urban Decay and Graftobian are a few brands I am saving up for. Do not worry my blog will still feature my ultimate faves - drugstore, local and affordable finds.

I got these Artist Studio Brushes for only 260 plus pesos at Landmark Trinoma. I love this brand because they are very affordable and the bristles are soft. I love their angled flat top and I bought two already. Now, I am thinking of buying back up brushes soon.
Php 139 Powder Brush
Angled Brush and a small concealer brush (I will probably use this for highlighting the inner rim of the eyes or as a lip brush) Each costs 49.75 pesos.
A nice blending brush for only 59 pesos.. I need to get two of this!! Jeez!!
I really love Landmark na to bits!
I got 6 pairs of hair velcro for only 19.75. that's a steal right? :) Perfect for my future makeup gigs.
Share with me your great finds here on the comment box below. I will be posting my birthday giveaway soon! Watch out for it!

An anti-bacterial brush cleanser for thorough cleaning in-between makeup applications. Disinfects brushes to provide a fresh and clean application every time. Washes away traces of dirt, makeup, oil and debris from your brush while conditioning the hair to provide a clean and soft application for every use. |
Back when I was in lawschool, cleaning my brushes was such a breeze. I would usually do it once a week. Now, with a full time job, cleaning my brushes became a hassle and a burden. I even thought our maid how to clean my brushes. I am not very particular with the product I used to clean my brushes. Often, I use laundry bar, dishwashing fluid, shampoo or even body wash. I prefer using a laundry bar because it incredibly gets all the gunk and oiliness from my brushes and it removes all the stains.
This is my very first time to use a product specifically designed to clean the brushes. The product came in a clear liquid gel form. It has a faint scent that I cannot describe accurately because I am plagued with colds. I intently read the directions and followed it.

I have tried using it on my flat top brush. After two tries of washing it with the shampoo, can you see that it did not remove the dirt at all?
Sadly, this ELF Shampoo Brush does not work especially with brushes that have oils due to liquid foundation or bb cream. It somehow cleansed the brushes that I used with powdered products but does not remove the stains completely. This shampoo does not suds up very well. As evident on the above picture, it did not create even the slightest soap foam. |

Just a quick tip for drying your brushes! I noticed that placing them in a standing position with the bristles pointing down on a towel makes the drying process faster than laying on the towel. It drains all the water from the brushes and even on the ferrule (the metal part) very well.
I know a lot of you will say that laundry bar is not a good brush cleaner, so please, if you have any recommendation, I would love to hear it!
Have a blessed weekends to all!
