Hi guys.. This picture may not be the most photogenic and enticing makeup look that I ever did but I wore this look for like five straight days and everyone was just asking me how I did it and if I am the one who did my makeup (errr.. who else???). This is a very easy and simple everyday makeup look. I can do this look for like 10 minutes or even less.
My skin looks so dry in the pictures... waahhh In real person, I swear this eye makeup looks so nice . It gives me that posh, neat and elegant look without looking too much. You can change the eyeshadows but I chose taupe since it defines my eyes more than the usual brown. Choose a matte shadow for the crease area and highlight with a shimmery (not too much...) highlighter and it will create a beautiful gradient and texture on your lid.
Some tips for a quick everyday makeup:
1.You can save time by creating a base color with your own foundation. Apply your concealer or primer over your lid and set it with powder or powder foundation.
2.The problem with most Asian women is that when they apply eyeshadows on their crease, it tends to disappear once they open their eyes. The reason being is that Asians do not have that deep socket in their eyes compared to Caucasians. I always watch Sam and Nic (PIXIWOO in Youtube) and I get frustrated because copying their looks takes more time since I have to deepen, darken and create the illusion of deep set eyes.
3. Skip the flick or winged eyeliner (when you go to the office, you have a formal event that requires a more professional look in school.. uhmm you get what I mean.. :D). Come on ladies!! Your boss will not compliment you and say, "OMG, you are so kawaii!!!"haha Well, perhaps in your dreams he/she will. :p In the office, if you'll meet a client or have a formal school presentation or reporting.. You do not sport the Tsubasa makeup!!Hello? It took me years to let go of the winged eyeliner craze. I know it looks so good but then there are times that I just had to grab a q-tip and erase that flick because it looks so unnatural and attention grabbing too. If you are in high school or in college, the winged eyeliner looks so cool. Let us get real here, ladies. We must dress appropriately and look (makeup wise) appropriately too.

4. Find products that saves you time in makeup application. As for me, I can use my Nichido Pencil Eyeliner to line my waterline, line my upper lid and tightline my eyes. Also, I can use my ELF matte bronzer as an eyeshadow too. :D
My whole look. Uhmm.. excuse my weird grin.. :p
Here is the tutorial.. Enjoy.. Do not forget to subscribe!!
Btw, my cam says it can record in HD but in Youtube it does not show that it is in HD.. I cannot figure it out.. Hmmm.. Anways, I just finished watching the movie, "The Vow." Hmmm.. I am not a love story movie lover.. I am more of the end of the world/apocalypse/alien invasion/action packed movie addict. I do not get the story behind the amnesia thing in love story but two of my favorite movies of all time follow the same trend. :D
Have you watched this?
A Moment to Remember
My mom and I cried a river when we watched this. This is better than the Notebook. I also love that movie!! Ohhh do not be deceived by the trailer of the movie, Chronicle. haha I hope you get what I mean. I watched that last week eh. I want to watch Daniel in The Woman in Black!! Hopefully, I could watch that this Sunday.. :D
Hi guys!! Here is quick and easy purple smokey eyes makeup tutorial. I played with colors because I miss doing tutorials with playful shades. I have been stuck with the neutral craze. :D Doing smokey eyes is the easiest because you just pack on eyeshadows on your lid and blend away (and creating a neutral eye makeup look was the hardest... haha).
I love HBC lashes. I went to HBC the other day and these lashes were out of stock. :C I need to hoard when they have stocks again. For 20 pesos, these are the best lashes out there. Just try getting the black ones because they look more natural than the super brown ones.
My head looks like an alien's! haha I just had to post this picture because I look meek and mild. LOL Contouring at its finest because my face looks so small. Ohh the wonders of my makeup. No surgery needed and saves you a lot of money. :D

Here is the video tutorial:
Enjoy!!
Btw, I finally have a job!! I love the view from my room but I cannot look down from the 30th bldg. I am super afraid of heights!! Yay!! Thank you Lord for this blessing. :D
Hi everyone!! Let us pause for 5 mins. and stare at my fabulous lashes!!Teehee. Can you feel how giddy and happy I am as I type away this post? Sophia Eyelash Enhancing Kit is the bomb!!! Guess what? My lashes still got longer even if I am not religiously applying it. To those who have not yet read my post, here is a quick introduction about this product. Click herefor my post.
Here is a picture of the original length of my lashes.
After two months:
Here is a closer shot of my lashes. Can you see that there are parts (near the outer corner of my eye) that looks shorter than the rest of my lashes?
After two months, they grew and are almost as long as the other lashes. My lashes are now a bit longer and it became darker too. I can really see the results. I can't wait for the results after February.
Winner!!

Hi guys! Finally, I bought a new makeup kit. hoorah!! I made a previous makeup kit post here. I got a separate organizer for my toiletries. I felt that there is a need to buy a new makeup kit since I tend to bring a lot more makeup than before. My Philosophy Makeup Kit was just too small and everything was a mess because I just threw all that I need inside it without organizing them. I wanted a clear makeup kit with a divider. I want to instantly see the products inside. It really takes time to rummage through all my makeup till I find my eyeliner or lipstick. It was too time consuming. Have you experienced this? the time when you need to pull out your lipstick and what you get is your lip balm or mascara? Haha That is so weird, right? The first time I saw this makeup kit at SM department store, I refused to buy it since I did not like the color and print (polka dots?!?No way!). When the time came that I need to buy this, I can't find it anymore. It was always out of stock. I have been to 4 different SM branches but thankfully, I found one at SM Makati.
Look how neat it looks?
It is only 199 pesos!Proudly Made in the Philippines too. :D
The brand is KARA NINA (reminds me of the old series in television Anna Karen Nina.. haha).
Here is a quick run down on what is inside:
Fanny Serrano Lash Curler Yanquina Volumizer Mascara (I need to get a new mascara.. Any recommendation?) Vaseline Lip Therapy in Cherry (I got tired of the scent and minty feel of Carmex.. I am planning to get the Maybelline Baby Lips soon because of your comments.. :D) Avon Simply Pretty Brow Powder (I love this!! ) ELF Brightening Eyeliner in Coffee (I use this for my brows too.. It matches my brow shade perfectly!) Nichido Lip Liner in Rosette (My HG and I cannot live without this.. I AM NOT KIDDING!) Nichido Eyeliner in ONYX Venus and Mars Lip Butter Tints in Pink Posies and Cherry Berry ( I am loving this a lot lately but it is not as moisturizing as I expected them to be because I need to apply a lipbalm first. I also change lipsticks every now and then. My lipstick and blush that I carry everyday changes depending on my mood.) Jenny Angled/Slanted Brush (Could you see the weird dent?I cut the bristles because they were too thin and flimsy for filling my brows. I cut them and I love the course edges after I cut it. ) ELF Matte Bronzer (I carry this because it can really change my look in an instant. I can slim down my big flat nose and make it more aquiline looking, trim down my chubby cheeks and I can darken my crease are too for that quick eye fix.) NYX Cream Blush in Natural
I forgot to include my 150 pesos retractable brush in this picture.
Myra E Pressed Powder in Light (I love this for touch ups.) Fitness Oil Control Sheet ( I am so new to this Oil Blotting Sheets.. I just bought this because it was really cheap. Anyone knows a good one?) My Leopard mirror (so cute!!!) Fanny Serrano 2 Way Foundation in Chino (I hit the pan AGAIN!!!) Ellana Concealer in Smile LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Pure Beige A small tester bottle of Chanel Pink (I bring this because I always forget to bring my perfume or mist because I change bags often depending on where I will go)
This is my retractable brush which I forgot to include in the pictures above. :D It is so soft and so dense. For 150 pesos, it is such a steal.
I am loving this Myra E Pressed Powder. I made a post about this before and the one I reviewed was in the shade Natural. I was debating to myself if I will get the Natural one or this Light shade. I got this light shade because I wanted to test the color if it suits me! I was utterly dismayed when I opened this. It looks so white on the pan. I told myself - Are you thinking that your Snow White's descendant? Dream on Girl.. haha When swatched, guess what?
Perfect translucent finish!! It blends nicely on my skin.
